And I'm done! After 19 years of being sober, I had my first drink yesterday in celebration of one epic season of women's surfing, it was champagne and it tasted disgusting. Seriously, don't let anyone tell you different. I am writing this now cos I would like to say thank you to my team without you humans I would not be here today, you where there at my darkest hour and I will always remember that. You have supported every decision I have made since
8-8-2012 , you have never once told me what to do with my life and believed in me even when I didn't.
I may have lost the world title race but in no way do I feel like I've lost with you guys around me. In your eyes i got second like a boss.
You humans brought me back to life, to live it.
And to the people that are still reading this thanks for listening and for all the support.
