We wanted to share some of our memorable moments on the gapit50 journey (for the record on this one danielle has never been involved in a protest of any form - watch and enjoy the moment)
GAPPING THE GAPIT GAP 😳 WHAAAAT???
Kia ora gapit50 fans followers and whanau - some sad news today we are taking a gap from the gap it adventure returning home to NZ in the next day or so - hopefully we’ll get back out there again soon but for now we are pausing the adventure .
who thought from February to June we could see so much do so much and travel - we can say we’ve night trained to Istanbul, kissed at the Eiffel Tower, cruised the Greek Islands, remembered the fallen in Gallipoli, visited count draculas castle, re enacted the Game of Thrones, been robbed in the South of France, planed trained shipped biked campervanned ferried driven walked climbed scootered swam sailed around 3 continents to visit those 24 countries - wow - it really has been an adventure
Family to us is more important then anything else - knowing how much we love to travel and how long we’ve been dreaming planning scheming and saving for the gapit50 journey should give you a good indication on where our priorities sit - so its home for now and hopefully sooner then later we’ll be back out there doing it.
We’ve appreciated the love support and encouragement along the way - it’s been a blast to have you all along for the ride - we’ve got more content to share because we’ve only really scratched the surface of what we’ve seen so stay tuned more will be coming

PEOPLE ARE AWESOME!! When we were leaving on the trip we promised to be authentic and share the good and parts of grown up gap year travel - the last 3 days have been some of the toughest we’ve seen on the road and we were unsure whether or not to share that we were robbed and had all of our stuff stolen - we didn’t want sympathy and we kind of just wanted to keep the best part of travel on our page - when we did share we were overwhelmed by the encouragement and support of people all around the world - we just want to take a minute to say thank you - we ain’t giving up yet ✊🏽 tough times make tough people ✊🏽

We’ve hit country number 19 and thought we’d celebrate with a river walk along the seine ❤️🇫🇷🇫🇷
We have been in Amsterdam for about four minutes and nearly had 17 pushbike accidents by not knowing where they come at you from. You have to be on your toes around here literally.
While everyone is enjoying the night time art shows back in NZ it’s daylight here in Berlin so we are checking out the Berlin Wall and it’s amazing art murals - WoW
