A recent trip to the new club med (still a thing) about 90 minutes outside of quebec city. It's all inclusive (yes, in Canada. Yes including drinks), great for summer sports, amazing for skiing (it's at the base of Le Massif) and best of all I can book it for you! We also explored the baie st Paul region which was adorable so if you're just looking for a getaway somewhere a bit closer to home I've got ideas there too.

Updating from the Frankfurt airport as we leave Europe for Thailand - travel right now really demands flexibility and go with the flow. This is not the time for once in a lifetime trips centered around specific experiences. My river cruise was moved from the Danube to the Rhine, we changed ships twice and the cruise director was the only one who could keep the itinerary straight. AmaWaterways did an amazing job and I'll be whole heartedly recommending them for my clients and sailing with them again in the future !

Wondering what's going on in the travel industry right now? It's certainly not boring! Rumours are flying and things are constantly changing.

No direct flights to sun destinations (think all inclusives) until the end of April at this point, but this could be extended.

Air Transat has suspended all of their flights until June 14th.

Rumours abound about additional airlines offering refunds soon, but nothing concrete yet

Lots of bookings for 2022 coming through - I am, as always, booking mostly tours and cruises but can of course advise on anything you need!

I don't always advocate for going to a new hotel within the first 3 or so months of operation unless you want a deal and are ok with them working out some problems - but it's always a good idea to keep a book mark or pinterest board or something just in case you're ever in that random town in Austria or Vietnam and can book a night somewhere amazing.

As I am coming to the end of my re-deployment to the credits and refunds team lots of people are asking if travel is even possible right now. It sure is! As long as you are prepared to quarantine when you get home, be flexible if flight times / routes change and wear a mask for extended periods of time, you're good to go.
