Ideas for my new backyard.. want a Tuscan feel so I feel home when in USA.. thoughts ? Ideas? These are some things I have found and would like to incorporate.. definitely a fountain, colorful plants and stone and rock .. NO grass.. it is a small yard and all would be fit to scale.. the fountain would be the centerpiece ..

Fantastic day discovering Radda in Chianti. The medieval town is just picturesque! Can’t wait to bring my guests here with their day in Chianti! But of course, I have to test the product! Absolutely beyond fabulous! ❤️🇮🇹 Lunch and the most scenic drive .. Grazie Bea for taking me!

Dinner at home- ravioli stuffed with burrata and basilico… with freshly grated Parmesan and a light pesto sauce.. of course with a delicious Vernaccia from San Gimignano.. view isn’t too bad either!

Lovely lunch in Piazza Grande after a bit of shopping and meeting friends for coffee. It is chilly but a sunny Sunday! Enjoyed gnocchetti with a light Vernaccia. Just perfect! 🇮🇹🎉❤️🇮🇹🎉❤️

Usually restaurants here in Arezzo close every day from about 2:30 or 3 until 7:00. Dear friends came for a day visit and after a little walk we arrived about 3:30 to one of my favorite places in Piazza Grande. They opened just for us! I was received with open arms and a huge hug! We enjoyed a wonderful meal and a delicious crisp white wine of the region. The chef is amazing and so accommodating and I love the staff.. doesn’t happen every day… feeling blessed and grateful. Thank you Anna Hood and Kellie for visiting me! ❤️🇮🇹❤️🎉🎉

The sunset was beautiful with the birds singing and a calm breeze. Simple salad with a white wine from Orvieto.. perfection.. 🌅🇮🇹❤️🎉

After school was wonderful- Prosecco at one of my favorite spots,then to another place for Tagliata with fresh rosemary, risotto and grilled artichokes.. with a local Chianti… nice to share with my friends from school- afterwards a walk for gelato that is all natural… best part was seeing Ute Hirschegger and her beautiful children along the way- PERFECT way to end the week!

My view for lunch! 🎉🇮🇹❤️🥗
After a private tour and lunch in Siena, I had the Grand finale dinner for my STEPS in Tuscany guests … first a visit to a local olive oil processing plant… ( a frantolo) VERY informative and interesting.. Thanks to Enrico for arranging this special and private tour… then on to a 13th century church for dinner and music by the most talented musicians.. Andrea and Davide brought the house down!
This tour is so much fun! Out in the forest with the dogs to hunt the truffles. Afterwards, everyone enjoys the fabulous truffle lunch.. it is truly an amazing experience. Luca and Andrea are amazing guides, but most fall in love with the dogs! Here is a short explanation of the truffle by Luca.
