Happening Now: First Aid Seminar and Basic knot tying and mountaineering course.

The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) is currently hosting an essential First Aid seminar at Kai Azul Beach, Gingoog City. This training, aimed at tourism tour guides and Sanguniang Kabataan (SK) members, focuses on equipping participants with critical first aid skills.

Under the expert guidance of CDRRMO trainers, attendees are learning to handle emergencies such as cuts, burns, fractures, and cardiac arrest. Practical sessions on CPR and effective use of first aid kits are also being conducted.

This initiative is a proactive step towards enhancing community safety and ensuring that both locals and tourists are well-protected. Participants are actively engaged and committed to integrating these life-saving skills into their roles.

There are plenty of places to hang out in the city, but what separates Extract is its humbleness and sincerity as a small business. Through good coffee, Extract hopes to bring people together and foster positive relationships. It's a place where people can hang out and talk, and where they can take a break from the daily grind.

DOT STANDARDS AND ACCREDITATION SEMINAR.
On September 20, 2022, The City Tourism Office headed by City Tourism Officer Mr. Audie Cornelio S. Ocampo through the Services section headed by Mrs. Livenche Fe A. Ramasola initiated the DOT Standards and Accreditation Seminar to the various Tourism Related Establishments in Gingoog City.
This is to encourage TRE's to register and to undergo accreditation from the Department of Tourism Region-10.
With the support of our Local Government Unit of Gingoog, through the leadership of Mayor Erick G. Cañosa and our SP Chair Committee on Tourism, Cultural Affairs and Zoning in the person of City Councilor Hon. Stephanie Marie L. Kho.
The Tourism Office extends its gratitude and acknowledgement to the Tourism Establishments owner/manager for giving their time and presence.
Special thanks also to Mr. Gabriel Ariel Estrada from the Department of Tourism Region 10 for sharing his expertise and knowledge in accreditation Seminar
