Indian Passport Lost-Dubai

Incase of Passport lost, the following procedures to be completed to get issued a new passport in lieu of lost.

Step: 1
Prepare an Arabic Letter in Company Letter Head addressing the Director of concerned Police Station to issue a Certificate of Lost.

Submit the letter along with the following documents:
• Copy of lost passport
• Two Photographs
• Trade License Copy of the Company
• Labour Establishment Card Copy to verify authorized signatory who must sign on the above letter.
• Police will issue a letter to Government Departments to verify visa record. There will be three columns to get seal from Dubai Public Prosecution, Dubai Courts and GDRFA (Immigration).

Step: 2
1. Take the letter along with all above attachments to Public Prosecution and get clearance seal on the same paper. (This seal certifies that your passport is not in the custody of Court/Immigration). Service Fee: No.

2. Take the letter along with all attachments to Dubai Courts and get clearance seal on the same paper. (Public Prosecution and Dubai Courts are in Oud Maitha Road, Um Hurair, Deira, Makani Number: 3089993465, Click here for Google map.
Service Fee: No.

3. Immigration, Jafliya: Take the letter along with all attachments to the Black List verification counter (No15) and get seal of clearance. Service Fee: No.

• Come back to Police Station to get Certificate of Lost.
• Fees at Police Station: Dh70

Translate the Certificate to English from Legal Translator and complete Consulate procedures. For translation requirements call: 04-239 1302, 055-273 2295.

Step: 3
• A letter in Company letterhead addressed to the Consulate, (from parent in case of a minor, from spouse incase of wife/husband, from Sponsor in case of individual sponsor) intimating about the loss to the applicant's passport and explaining circumstances leading to the loss to the passport with a request to issue a duplicate passport. One photo of the applicant should also be pasted on the letter. Following format is suggested:

"This is to inform you that Mr. /Ms. …………………. S/o D/o W/o ………… Holding Indian passport no. ……………… Issued at ………… on ……………… whose photograph is pasted below, is working under our sponsorship. He / She has genuinely lost his/her above-mentioned passport. The passport was lost on …………… in the following circumstances …………………… Kindly issue a Duplicate passport to him / her.

Step: 4
Type the following forms from Typing Centre or BLS Centre.
1. Application in EAP-1 Form.
2. Personal Particulars Form (attach two copies). This form required only in case of lost Passport issued out of Dubai.

Attach the following Documents:

• Ten copies of photograph with white background (Size: 5cmx5cm)

• Photocopy of the passport which was lost (if available)

• Police report and English translation

• Photocopy of Emirates ID / Driving license / Labour / Health / Election Commission cards or any other document with a photograph as a proof of identity. Originals will be seen and returned. Sign on the application in front of the BLS staff and submit.

• Passport copy of sponsor (if individual sponsor)

• Personal appearance of applicant is compulsory to establish physical identity.

Fee: Dh622 (Normal package. Issue of Passport within 30-40 days)
Fee: Dh1196 (Urgent - tatkal- package. Issue within 5 working days)

Part Time Work Permit-UAE

The part-time work permit applies to two categories of persons:

1. Resident workers in full-time employment holding a valid labour card

2. Residents aged 18 and above

NOTE: Part-time Work permit is not issued for female employees.

• Those issued with a part-time work permit are not limited to the number of part-time jobs they can take up.

Period of Contract: one year. Contract starting and ending date must be mentioned.

Separate Labour Card and Contract will be issued for the part time job.

EJARI (Tenancy Contract Online Registration)-Dubai

Tenancy Contract online registration is mandatory for Trade License new/renewal, Family visa new/renewal and for Municipality related transactions.

EJARI - TENANCY CONTRACT REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Personal
• Tenancy Contract original signed by both parties
• Passport Copy+Visa page of Tenant
• DEWA latest bill or Registration Deposit Bill
• Mobile number of Tenant
• Shop/Unit/Villa/Flat Number

Company
• Tenancy Contract original signed by both parties

Renew Ejari Every Year: You cannot skip a year. Incase you didn't do Ejari last year, you will have to pay that fee at the time of next renewal.

Plot Number should be written on the Tenancy Contract. Otherwise, Title Deed (Land ownership Certificate) or Municipality Affection Plan is required.

What is a rent calculator?

The Land Department of Dubai government has provided the public with a rental calculator on it's website

> It is an index designed and prepared to determine and monitor the rents keeping in mind certain factors such as the location of the property, the size of the apartment and facilities it offers.

> It has been made available for the public for transparency and regulating the rents in Dubai.

What is EJARI?
EJARI means ‘My Rent’ in Arabic. Ejari is a system that is governed by RERA to make registration of rental / lease agreements easy and accessible to Owners and Real Estate Management Companies of various categories. The Ejari system provides a full portfolio of services beyond registering the initial lease agreement. Renewals, cancellations, transfers and terminations can all be logged.

What is Premises number and where can I get it from?
Premises number is a 9 digit identification code provided for each unit of the building. First three digits (community number) represents the first part of your plot number. Premises number is found on the door of each unit fixed by DEWA.

NOTE: EJARI registration cannot be done if the Tenancy Contract is issued from other emirates (eg. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman..etc). In that case, the contract has to be attested from concerned Municipality/Land Department and attach Electricity Bill.

Procedures at UAE Embassy in Delhi and Consulate in Thiruvananthapuram for Employment Visa

New rule effective from 09/11/2016
Step 1:
Sponsor in UAE will apply Employment Visa for their proposed employees in India.
Step 2:
Once the employer completed visa procedures, sponsor will receive a message on their registered mobile as follows:
Dear Applicant, the initial approval for (NAME) 2393020 has been issued, who has been notified to book an appointment to visit the visa centre. You may book an appointment through the online application on https://visa.mofa.gov.ae/Sponsor/Index.aspx
Username: Unified Number/Establishment Id Password: ######
• Sponsor should hand over the user name and password to the proposed employee in India.
• If your sponsor is company, you may get visa approval copy also from Immigration. Click here for the specimen copy of visa approval (Umm Al Quwain). Click here for the specimen copy of visa approval (Abu Dhabi)
Step 3:
With the help of that Username and password the employee can take appointment on https://visa.mofa.gov.ae/Sponsor/Index.aspx
• Appointment is not necessary. You can go walk-in also.
Step 4:
On the date of Appointment, the employee should visit Thiruvananthapuram / Delhi consular section with the following documents:-
• Medical Certificate (Approved by Gulf Approved Medical Centres Association-GAMCA). Medical Fee Rs5000 (Approx) at the clinic.

• Original Passport (Valid for more than 6 Months)
• 6250 INR for Biometric. This amount can be paid done through cash also.
150 AED for attestation of medical Certificate from UAE Consulate (Approximate INR 4000). Payment through Credit/Debit Card only. We can arrange this attestation using our Credit Card without you standing in the queue.
Step 5:
When all the formalities completed at the Consulate/Embassy; the employee will get two month valid visa on his/her passport next day.

Medical: The prospective employees have to do medical from accredited Medical Centre. Medical Fee Rs5000.
Test includes: Blood test, Urine test, X-ray & full body check
Required Documents for Medical: Visa approval reference number, Original passport & four photographs.
• There are five GAMCA Clinics in Thiruvananthapuram. To avoid delay, you can complete Medical from your nearest GAMCA Clinic.
• After receiving the Medical Certificate, visit the consulate in person along with original documents, pay the required fees.
• Passport will be released next day and two months valid visa will be stamped on your passport.
• Passport can be collected by the holder only.
• You should enter UAE within the valid period. After entry, you should complete Medical, Emirates ID, Labour Contract & Visa Stamping.

Documents required at the Consulate: Original Passport (Minimum validity: 6 months), Medical Certificate, Visa Reference Paper/number from UAE, Credit/Debit Card for attestation payment. No need photo.
• Eye scan, finger print and photo catching will be done at the Consulate.

5. ഫോട്ടോ വേണ്ട. തത്സമയം അവർ ഫോട്ടോ എടുക്കും.

STEPS TO FOLLOW
TVM റെയില്‍വെസ്റ്റേഷനില്‍ ചെന്ന് ഓട്ടൊ വിളിച്ച് മണക്കാട് UAE Consulate ലേക്ക് പോകുക. (ആദ്യമായി പോകുന്നവരാണെങ്കില്‍ Prepaid Auto വിളിക്കുന്നതാകും നല്ലത്. 10 രൂപ‌ കൂടുതല്‍ കൊടുത്താലും ചിലപ്പോള്‍ 100 രൂപ‌ വരെ ലാഭിക്കാന്‍ സാധിക്കും).
• വിലാസം: മണക്കാട്, തിരുവനന്തപുരം, തമ്പാനൂര്‍ റെയില്‍വെ/കെ എസ് ആര്‍ ടിസി സ്റ്റേഷനില്‍ നിന്ന് രണ്ട് കിലോമീറ്റര്‍. Clicke here for Google Map.

• കാലത്ത് 9 മണിക്കാണ് Consulate തുറക്കുക. നീണ്ട‌ക്യൂ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് എത്രയും നേരത്തെ എത്തി ക്യൂവില്‍ സ്ഥാനം പിടിക്കുന്നത് നന്നായിരിക്കും. ‍രണ്ട് ക്യൂ ഉള്ളത് കൊണ്ട് ആദ്യമായി ചെല്ലുന്ന‌വരുടെ ക്യൂ ചോദിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം നില്‍ക്കാന്‍ പ്രത്യേകം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക. മറ്റൊരു ക്യു പാസ്പോര്‍ട്ട് കളക്ഷന് വേണ്ടി വന്നവരുടേതാണ്.

• ചെക്ക് ചെയ്തതിന്‍റെ ശേഷം മാത്രമേ അകത്ത് കടത്തുകയുള്ളൂ.
അകത്ത് കടന്നതിന് ശേഷം റിസപ്ഷനില്‍ പാസ്സ്പോര്‍ട് കാണിച്ച് ടോക്കണ്‍ എടുക്കുക.
• ആദ്യം കാണുന്ന‌ നാല് കൌണ്ടറുകളില്‍ ഒന്നില്‍ നമ്പര്‍ സ്ക്രീനില്‍ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ അവിടെ മെഡിക്കല്‍ റിസല്‍ടും AED. 150 (INR. 3200 - including charges) എടുക്കാന്‍ പറ്റിയ‌ ഇന്‍റര്‍നാഷണല്‍ debit/credit കാര്‍ഡും കൊടുക്കുക.

• പിന്നീട് മെഡിക്കല്‍‍ റിസല്‍റ്റ് അറ്റസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്താല്‍ നമ്മളെ പേര് വിളിക്കും. അപ്പോള്‍ അത് കളക്ട് ചെയ്യുക‌(ഏകദേശം 10 മിനുട്സ് മാത്രമേ എടുക്കുകയുള്ളൂ). എന്നിട്ട് അതുമായി വീണ്ടും റിസപ്ഷനില്‍ പോയാല്‍ അവിടെ നിന്ന് visa approval ചെയ്യാനുള്ള‌ കൌണ്ടറിലേക്കുള്ള‌ ടോക്കണ്‍ തരും. അതുമായി നമ്മുടെ നംമ്പര്‍ സ്ക്രീനില്‍ തെളിയുന്നത് വരെ കാത്തിരിക്കുക.

• നമ്പര്‍ വിളിച്ചാല്‍ ആ കൌണ്ടറില്‍ പോയി പാസ്സ്പോര്‍ട്, അറ്റസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്ത‌ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്, INR 6250 എടുക്കാന്‍ പറ്റിയ‌ കാര്‍ഡ് എന്നിവ‌ കൊടുക്കുക. അവിടെ ഫിംഗര്‍ പ്റിന്റും ഒപ്പും നല്‍കേണ്ടി വരും. അപ്പോള്‍ അവിടെ നിന്ന് വിസ‌ approved ആയ‌ ഒരു പേപ്പര്‍ ലഭിക്കും.

• അതുമായി ഫസ്റ്റ് ഫ്ളോറില്‍ പോകുക. അവിടെ നമുക്ക് രണ്ടാമത്‌ കിട്ടിയ‌ ടോകണ്‍ പ്രകാരം കൌണ്ടറിലേക്ക് വിളിക്കും. അവിടെ പോയാല്‍ 10 ഫിംഗര്‍ പ്രിന്‍റും കണ്ണ് ടെസ്റ്റും നടത്തുന്നതാണ്. അതോടൊപ്പം വിസക്ക് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള‌ ഫോട്ടോയും എടുക്കും.

• ശേഷം ഓരോരുത്തരേയും ഇന്‍റര്‍വ്യൂവിനായി വിളിക്കുന്നതാണ്(വെറുതെ ജോലിയെന്താണെന്നും എങ്ങോട്ടാണ് പോകുന്നതെന്നും ചോദിക്കുകയുള്ളു. ഭാഷ‌അറിയില്ലെങ്കിലും കുഴപ്പമില്ല.‌ തര്‍ജ്ജമ ചെയ്തു തരാന്‍ ഒരു മലയാളി ഒപ്പമുണ്ടാകും.

• രണ്ടാമത്തെ കൌണ്ടറില്‍ നമ്മള്‍ കൊടുത്ത‌ same ഫിംഗര്‍ പ്രിന്‍റും ഒപ്പും ഇവിടെയും ചെയ്യണം. അതിന്‍റെ ഒപ്പം തന്നെ UAE യില്‍നിന്ന് ലഭിച്ച‌ റഫറന്‍സ് പേപ്പറും അവിടെ കൊടുക്കണം.

• നമ്മുടെ പാസ്സ്പോര്‍ട് വിസ‌ അടിക്കുന്നതിനായി അവിടെ വാങ്ങിവെക്കുന്നതാണ്. ശേഷം നമുക്ക് ഒരു സ്ലിപ്പ് ലഭിക്കും. അത് വാങ്ങുന്ന‌ സമയത്ത് എന്നാണ് പാസ്സ്പോര്‍ട് വാങ്ങാന്‍ വരേണ്ടതെന്ന് അവര്‍ പറയും. കിട്ടുന്ന‌ സ്ലിപ് നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തരുത്. അതുമായി വന്നാല്‍ മാത്രമേ പാസ്സ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ലഭിക്കുകയുള്ളൂ. പാസ്സ്പോര്‍ട് കളക്ഷന്‍ തിയ്യതി എസ് എം എസിലൂടെയും അറിയിക്കും.

• അവര്‍ അറിയിക്കുന്ന‌ ദിവസം Consulate ല്‍ വരിക. പാസ്സ്പോര്‍ട് കളക്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനുള്ള‌ ക്യൂവില്‍നില്‍ക്കുക.‌ (ക്യൂ മാറാതെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക.‌ കാരണം ഈ ക്യൂവാണ് ആദ്യം വിളിക്കുക). അവര്‍ തന്ന‌ സ്ലിപ്പ് അവിടെയുള്ള‌ കൌണ്ടറില്‍ കാണിച്ചാല്‍ രണ്ട് മാസം കാലാവധിയുള്ള‌ വിസ‌ അടിച്ച‌ പാസ്സ്പോര്‍ട് ലഭിക്കുന്നതാണ്.
• രണ്ട് മാസത്തിനകം യു എ ഇയില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കണം. ശേഷം രണ്ട് മാസത്തിനകം മെഡിക്കല്‍, എമിറേറ്റ്സ് ഐഡി, ലേബര്‍ കോണ്‍ട്രാക്റ്റ്, വിസ സ്റ്റാമ്പിംഗ് എന്നിവ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കണം.

പ്രത്യേകം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടത്....
• ദൂരെ നിന്ന് വരുന്നവര് താമസിക്കാന്‍വേണ്ടിയുള്ള‌ തയ്യാറെടുപ്പോട് കൂടി വരിക‌. മിക്കവാറും അടുത്ത‌ ദിവസം തന്നെ പാസ്സ്പോര്‍ട് കളക്ട് ചെയ്യാനുള്ള‌ തിയ്യതി ലഭിക്കും.
• ശനി, ഞായര്‍ ദിവസമാണ് Consulate അവധി. അത്കൊണ്ട് വെള്ളിയാഴ്ചം‌ ദൂര‌സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലുള്ളവര്‍ വരാതിരിക്കുന്നത് നന്നായിരിക്കും. യു എ ഇ യിലെ ദേശീയ അവധി ദിനങ്ങളും പരിഗണിക്കണം.
• നാട്ടില്‍നിന്ന് തന്നെ മെഡിക്കല്‍ എടുത്ത് വരിക. എടുക്കാത്തവര്‍ക്ക് തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് നിന്നും എടുക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. അപ്പോള്‍ ഒരു ദിവസം കൂടി താമസിക്കണം. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് അഞ്ച് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളുണ്ട്.
• കോണ്‍സുലേറ്റിലെ ഫീസും യാത്രാ ചിലവുമടക്കം 15000 രൂപയെങ്കിലും കരുതണം.

To Sponsor Parents on Residence Visa-UAE

How can I apply residence visa for my parents in Dubai?

New rule effective from 20/03/2016

- All charges, including Deposits, Guarantees, Courier and file opening fees will be processed through typing centre. Refund can be processed only to the sponsor’s Bank Account. IBAN (International Bank Account Number) of the Sponsor (applicant) is required.

- Customers need to visit the immigration (GDRFA) only after the approval of their online application. Customer will receive SMS incase of approval, modification or rejection. Visa (while colour) will be mailed to applicant's E-mail address after approval. If you need pink colour visa, you can visit any GDRFA Dubai branch after receiving approval SMS. No extra fee. Passengers from some countries need pink colour visa for Emigration clearance.

Required Documents
• Passport copies (colour) of parents and one photo with white background

• Original passport of sponsor and spouse.

• Original Emirates ID of sponsor.

• Monthly Salary should be Dh20,000 or above.

• Visa application Fee: Dhd 450+ Typing charge.

• File opening Fee: Dh210 should be paid through typing centre (typing charge extra). If you have paid file opening fee before, you can bring that sticker for scanning.

• IBAN (International Bank Account Number) of the Sponsor (applicant).

• Dh5020 for each parent should be deposited at Immigration through typing centre. This amount is refundable after cancellation and exit. If the application got rejected, you can refund this amount to your bank account without visiting Immigration office. Click here to go to refund page.

• Bank Account Statement for the last Three months. Online print will not be accepted.

Partner/Investor visa holders should attach Company and Personal Account Statements for the last six months, Trade License copy, Partners list, LLC Agreemen.

Original Tenancy Contract (consisting of minimum Two Bedrooms). It has to be attested through Ejari online system of Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). If you live out of Dubai, bring Municipality attested Tenancy Contract and Electricity bill.

• Original Electricity Bill for the last month.

• Original Labour Contract (green colour). You can get Labour Contract true copy print from Tas'heel Centre. Fees: Dh53.

• Original Salary Certificate, if the sponsor is a Government/Semi-government/Free zone Employee.

Husband under the sponsorship of Wife (Residence Visa)-Dubai

• Nurses, Doctors, Engineers and Teachers can sponsor their husband on Residence Visa if she meets the following conditions:

• Wife shall have a valid Employment visa.

• Original Marriage Certificate attested by UAE Embassy in home country and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE. For attestation requirements, Call: +97150-538 3545.

• Tenancy Contract (accommodation rental agreement) and Electricity Bill. Contract should be registered through Ejari online system of Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). If you live out of Dubai, Municipality attested Tenancy Contract and Electricity bill are required.

• Attested Educational Certificate (attestation from UAE Embassy in home country and UAE Foreign Affairs here).

• Bank statement of last three months.

• Colour passport copy of husband and one photograph with white background.

• Original Passport, Emirates ID, Bank Account Number (IBAN), Labour Contract/ Salary Certificate of Sponsor.

• Salary shall not be less than Dh4000 or Dh3000 + accommodation. Labour Contract can be printed from Tas’heel Centre on payment of Dh53. Passport copy is enough for printing Labour Contract. No need attestation.

Visa Application Fees: Dh360 + typing charge to be paid at Typing Centre. If you are Government or Semi-government Staff, application Fees: Dh310 (Typing charge extra).
• Dh220 for file opening should be paid at Typing Centre.

Immigration Establishment Card (Computer Card)-New

The following documents are required to apply for a New Immigration Establishment Card. This Card is mandatory to apply for Investor/Partner/Employment visa.

• Filled application (Can be typed from Typing Centre)

• Copy of Trade License

• Copy of the addendum listing the partners' names in case of LLC, issued from the Department of Economic Development (Second page of the License)

• Copy of authorization attested by Notary Public for authorized signatories. Copy of Memorandum of Association is enough for Managing Director if it is mentioned in Article 9 of MoA. To get signature authority, the applicant should have valid Dubai visa. If the expatriate Partner/Owner doesn't have valid Dubai Residence/Employment visa, he/she can add signature latter after stamping the visa on passport. Click here for details.

• Valid EJARI Registration Certificate.

Visa Medical Service - Dubai

How can I do Visa Medical Test in Dubai?

Documents Required
- Passport copy
- Visa copy

- Typed online form
- Original Passport or Emirates ID should be shown at the Clinic
- Fees must be paid online

Medical Test from Government Clinics (DHA)

Online Booking available for Medical Test from Government Clinics. Click here to book online. Health Card is not required to do Medical Test from the below mentioned clinics. Normal Medical Test Fee is Dh270 + Dh20 for Courier delivery within five working days.
Express Packages: Dh700 for 4 hour service Dh480 for 24 hour service and Dh380 for 48 hour service.
Courier fees Dh35 will be charged at the Clinic for 48 hours package.
Courier fees Dh40 will be charged at the Clinic for 24 hours package. You can collect the Certificate personally if you want.

New visa holders can do fingerprint for Emirates ID from EIDA Centre near the medical centre. So, make ready both Medical and Emirates ID forms while going for medical test. EIDA Centers located next to Muhaisinah (Sonapur) and Al Qouze Clinics.

• Visa Transfer applicants must do Status Change before Medical Test.
