Hi current and possibly returning staff!

I hope you’re having a great week! Although there’s still lots of the winter season left, we’re already thinking about summer!

If you are applying for a summer role, you will need to:
- Apply through the Careers section in your Dayforce account
- Complete an Internal Application Form (paper copies available in the EE Office)
- Once you have completed Section One of the form, hand it to your current Supervisor or Manager

We will begin reviewing/interviewing external candidates from next week. So, to be in with your best chance at your top choice of summer role, please complete your online Dayforce application and Internal Application Form AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Hello All,

Well it’s great to see the village come alive, and guests enjoying the great summer vibes we all have to offer!

With Edward Jones well in progress, followed in short order by the Dunbar bike race, our amazing house keeping team could use an assist to flip from one event to another in short order.

We need help cleaning units on the following days:

Sunday July 17th
Monday July 18th

SHIFTS STARTS: 9:15 or Alternately 11:00 - Please Report to our awesome Housekeeping Coordinator in the HK office!

If these shifts are for you, please let our HK Manager Gemma know via email [email protected]

If your intention is to fill a shift, please let us know sooner than later - so we can better manage our outcomes.

Remember no experience necessary! Overtime will be paid if you work more than 8 hours a day or over 40 hours in the week.

Hello all,

We are thrilled to be hosting the Alpine Jr. World Championship March 1st to 9th. As we approach this exciting and busy time there are a few departments that could use our help to prepare and to host this major event.

The Food & Beverage team could use help with upcoming Dishwasher, Line Cook, Sandwich Artist & Prep Cook shifts. (tasks can be entry level duties such as food inventory, food preparation, sandwich making and stewarding).
Shifts are available starting the week Feb. 14 & through to the end of the season. If interested in adding your name to the list and working these shifts please e-mail Daniel Davyduke at [email protected] with your availability.

Overtime will be paid at the assigned positions rate if you qualify; if you work more the 8 hours a day or more than 40 hours. in the week.

The Housekeeping team could also use support with shifts starting immediately. There are a variety of shifts available, Lodging Attendant, Common & Commercial Attendant & Inventory Attendant please contact Gemma Smith at [email protected] with your availability.

Hello! We know many of you are anxiously awaiting news of housing opportunities here on the mountain and in the lovely local town of Invermere.

We are fortunate to have great relationships with a number of private owners here in the valley, many of whom have been renting to our staff for several years.

(Our Employee Experience team are working through all of your Employee Housing forms as we speak. Sadly we're not able to house everyone who applies for Employee Housing, so do keep an eye on the Private Accommodation Group and if you see something you like email the owners right away! Sometimes they'll be able to help you find roommates, and sometimes you'll need to look for your own ... you won't struggle to find others who are looking for a place to stay and who are working at Panorama for the winter who'll want to join you as a roommate!)

For those looking at putting some extra cash in their pockets before the end of the season here are the latest opportunities to pick up some shifts. All positions are willing to pay OT. Details are as follows:

• Lift Attendant - Wage $15.50 p/h - Start – ASAP
• Pool Attendant - Wage $15.50 p/h - Start – August 16
• Lodging Attendant - Wage $17 p/h - Start ASAP

Hard to believe that the end of the summer season is just over 4 weeks away...for those of you making travel plans, we have booked two Staff Shuttle buses which will run from Panorama to Calgary at the end of the season.
Shuttle 1) Sunday, September 5
Shuttle 2) Tuesday, September 7
The shuttle costs $60 per person, places are first-come, first-served!

Hi All,
For those employees looking to continue on your employment once the summer is complete you can now apply for winter positions through the careers section in Dayforce. Once you have applied then please fill out an internal transfer form, available from Anne in the downstairs EE office or your manager has access to print them off. Once you have completed the first page the second page will need to filled out by your supervisor/manager who will then return it to EE. We also have off season work available, mostly in the housekeeping department, if you are interested then please apply for those roles as well and include that on your internal transfer form.

Hi Everyone,

Just an update on the Mountain Shuttle ... due to low ridership, the last day of the Shuttle will be Friday, April 9th. Also, the Adventure Centre stop will no longer in use ... the shuttle will continue to stop at Ski Tip Lodge at the same times posted for the Adventure Centre.

Huge thanks to Riki and Fumio and all of the shuttle drivers for another great season of shuttle runs! That's a lot of Mountain Mileage!!!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you're having a lovely day out in the sunshine and maybe doing one or two last turns of the season out on the slopes!

A couple of you have asked about the Mountain Shuttle - this will keep running on its regular schedule up to and including April 11th.

The only change will be to the 5:10pm pick-up from No Frills. Due to the bridge construction/road works, this pick-up/drop-off time will be eliminated. All other times will remain the same.

Adam and Julie are currently sending out Spring and Summer offer letters! If you have applied, please keep and eye on your email. All offers will be sent to your email address.

Once you have yours and you want to accept it, click "accept" at the bottom of the offer and return a signed copy to Adam or Julie. If you're tech savvy and can return your signed offer digitally please go ahead and do that, or come and see us in the EE Office and we can print a copy out for you to sign.

Hi All
The countdown to the end of the season is on! We have a busy period coming up over Easter and to help our housekeeping team get through it we are putting a call out for additional help on May 31, April 1,2. If anyone is looking to pick up extra hours to put some extra $$ away for the off season then we have lodging attendant hours available. For those already working full time hours then OT (paid at the lodging attendant wage) is available. It’s February, it’s bright, sunny and chilly … time to think about Summer!

We’ve just posted all of our available roles online and we’d love to get all of our rockstar existing and returning members of staff set up with job offers!

If you are interested in staying for the Spring and/or Summer Season here’s what you need to do:

• Log in to Dayforce and go to the Careers section
• View and apply for all roles that are of interest
• Fill in an online Internal Transfer Form ... https://tinyurl.com/panosummer2021
o On this form you’ll be asked to list your top four job choices in order of preference, as well as your availability and a brief section on your work experience and skills
o Once you have done this, we will forward your form on to your supervisor/manager who will complete a performance evaluation and return it to us

Many of the roles have limited number of positions available so please complete your application as soon as possible to be in with the best chance of landing your first choice role. We’re hoping to have offer letters out by mid-March.
