I want to make life stream and show you the city of Prague.

Please give me your feedback, will you be interested in it?

If yes, what exactly would you like to see and know about Prague?

I am looking forward to your reply! Your tour guide Victoria

STRAHOV MONASTERY

No matter which day you decide to climb up to the Strahov Monastery: sun, rain or wind would never affect the overwelming fascination this complex – originally founded 900 years ago - will gives you, like to all its other guests through the centuries.

From the stern, dark statue of Saint Norbert, which dominates the Entrance Gate, going to the old bohemian brewery, every detail exudes Czech identity.

Once entering the oldest Premonstratensian Monastery in Bohemia you’ll get stuck in a elegant, solemn time, a pendulum between the Philosophical and Theological Halls, both coffers of dozens of thousands priceless books, manuscripts and incunabula.

The baroque appearence of the Halls is paternity of the Italian architect Anselmo Lurago, perfect frame to all the woden decorations and paintings that adorn the connection corridor, ideal junction between the laical and clerical dimension.

- NOT SURE – DO YOU WANT ME TO ADD ANOTHER PORTION?

Want to jump into this time-trip? The golden miniatures and the perfectly preserved details of the hand-written codes are there to delight your eyes! Join us!

During your visit we will admire:

😍The Philosophical Hall - wonderfully woden crafted and with its azure sky painted rooftop.
😍The Theological Hall - pure and white with its bas-relief decorations.
😍The Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady – with its baroque style and the softly coloured arches.
😍The ancient Bohemian Brewery – where we will taste a traditional fresh Amber Lager (rigorously standing, as the tradition demands).
😍The Viewing Terrace – the most iconic spot to admire the elegance of Prague, cherished by it Vltava river.

I WAS NOT BORN THIS WAY💁

If we could rewind the film 🎞️back and have a look in the past, barely that 19 years old girl, who was entering chemical faculty could imagine that she would make tours and it would become her world, her air, her soul.

🤔Recently I thought what brought me here, as i have never dreamt about anything like that. Do you remember, mostly as kids we wanted to be ballerinas, doctors or flight attendants. And i wanted to become 👩‍🔬a chemist!

😂And then something went wrong!

I grew up and realized for sure that Chemistry is not what I want to do.

That’s when the path to the world of tours has began 🧗. Tons of literature, courses, creation of my copyright of programs, craziness before each of the new programs, sleepless nights and🤩 happiness!

Yes, now I can say that I have found my mission and my dream job. I might be tired but this is very pleasant tiredness. As I really love what I am doing!

👆The main indicator that I chose right are you! Your smiles, words of gratefulness, feedback!

All this makes me realize that I did the right choice - I am showing you Prague, where you want to come back, and you are coming back!

🙌I want to thank each and every of you that you are with me. You are my motivators to grow and improvement.

❓Would you share your story with us? How did you find your mission?

💼WHEN TO VISIT PRAGUE💼

You are often asking me for the universal time of the year, exact date, when you can come to Prague. But there is no such date! Prague is amazing any time! It is friendly and welcoming, makes you fall in love for the first sight and stays in your hearts forever.

Choose your time to visit Prague according to which weather and season you like.

🍁Golden fall.
Prague is quite warm during the fall. It rains very little and if it rains, it rains very shortly. I’d choose November. Primarily because it is low season in the city therefore you’ll be able to walk around the city without the crowds of tourists. September and October are the months of Golden fall! It can be very warm like in summer or quite rainy!

❄️Fairy winter.
Starting from December 1st the city looks like a fairy tale and the people are it’s main characters. Christmas markets, Christmas decorations, fur trees, cinnamon, vanilla. Are you feeling it? The holiday is approaching! I love New Years Eve especially in Prague. This city is meant for Christmas! But during this period there are crowds again. So I’m recommending to come in first half of December, or in the end of January or February, when it is low season again.

🌱Blossoming spring.
I love April in Prague the most. As during this time magnolias start blooming 🌺. I know that some tourists choose the time of their visit to catch it. As for me April is the best time for it. In March the weather is very moody and in May the high season starts.

☀️Hot summer.
It does not fit for everyone, as the temperature can reach +35°С in summer. And this summer has been recognized as the hottest ever according to the temperature measurements. The temperature is comfortable approximately till noon and starting from 6pm. July and August are the hottest summer months. I’d choose June for the visit or the end of August - beginning of September. But it can also be cold or rainy in summer. Prague is very moody!

✌️ Let’s play now🤗

❓What is your favourite month in Prague? Let’s see which one will win!

(As for me - April, May and June)

🥞BREAKFASTS IN PRAGUE☕

What are you starting your day with? I believe mostly you’d say breakfast. While on vacation, you want to spend most of the time exploring rather than cooking. Therefore I’ll share with you where can you get tasty breakfast.

1️⃣SmetanaQ Cafe & Bistro

📍Smetanovo nabrezí 334/4

It is close to the Charles Bridge. Is well known by Viennese waffles and eggs Benedict. For those, who likes making pictures in cafe, it’s a prefect place. See the picture😍

💰 The approximate price is 200 CZK per person;

2️⃣Cafedu

📍Shkretova 490/12

It is situated close Wenceslas Square and Main Railway station. It is oriented mostly for snacks. If you are in a hurry and do not have enough time for breakfast, this is your place. Very tasty coffee, cheesecakes, sandwiches. For breakfast they also offer meals from eggs or porridge.

💰Approximate price is 150 CZK.

3️⃣Oliver's Coffee Cup

📍Wenceslas Square 58/804

It is in the city center, at the Wenceslas Square. Silent, cozy place with the view of the Square. It is nice location if you planned to walk around the city, as you can start directly from Wenceslas Square. Big choice of breakfasts, freshly roasted coffee. Here I’m having meetings.

💰As for the price, breakfast approximately will cost you 200CZK.

4️⃣Perfect Day

📍Kafkova 608/20

For those, who live far from the center and is looking for something unusual! Modern design, perfect service, 15 minutes walk from the Prague Castle. Great kitchen as well. You can suggest this place if you’ve decided to have a look at the part of Prague 6.

💰Breakfast costs approximately 180CZK per person.

5️⃣Cafe Prostoru

📍Technická 2710/6

This one is also situated in Prague 6, where I have been studying chemistry for the long 5 years. You can dive into a student life for a while, have an amazing breakfast and enjoy great prices!

💰Approximately 130CZK per breakfast per person.

❓How do you like the list? Do not forget to save 🔰 this post on order to find it when you need it😉

❓Where are you going for breakfast?

🧐NOBODY WILL TELL YOU THIS👌

What every tourist should do before coming to Prague 😄

If you haven’t created the to do list, I have made it for you:

1️⃣Take comfortable shoes 👟. Almost all touristic parts of Prague are paved with the stones. And with bated breath I look at the beautiful girls who are going there on the high heels or sandals with platform! 🙈

2️⃣Umbrella☂️ - I have it with me all the time. Yes, we don’t have lingering showers in Prague but some cloud can appear unexpectedly. And we are experienced tourists, aren’t we?

3️⃣Some cash. There are certain exchange places, where you can exchange the money for the best rate. I can make a post if needed.

4️⃣Medicine💊. Most of the pills in Czechia you can buy only with the prescription. Therefore take all the medicine you are usually taking.

5️⃣And my personal advice - leave enough place in the suitcase for the souvenirs and beer. You do not need many things but you will want to take everything from Prague, therefore you need to think well about it!

📍I’m not going to mention documents, cameras and phones, this you will pack first. As well as passport, visa (if needed) and an insurance. Always take them with you.

❓I am sure you can add more things to the list. What would you suggest? Write in the comments, please👇

🚲CZECHIA BY BIKE 🚲

Did you know that I’m riding a bike? This is my love and passion from the childhood.

My Grandpa gave me my first bike for my 7th birthday! It was Easter and I couldn’t wait to try out my present! I remember my Grandma was saying that you cannot ride the bicycle during Easter time! But I was very stubborn child and finally they let me try it!

As a result I fell, broke my knees, broke into tears and you can imagine how it all finished!

Nevertheless, in less than a month I didn’t go outside without a bike and all my childhood I was riding a bicycle - when it was hot and snowy, during the rain and dirt! I have been riding it also to go for a farmers market!

But after the student times I have got the bicycle only now! And we have gone to a two long trips:

🚴Prague - Poděbrady 🔥 58km

🚴Prague - Karlštejn 🔥 27km

I will share with you my next ones as well!

Czechia is a country of bike- lovers! You might not think so while you are in the city center but as soon as you leave Prague you will understand what I am talking about!

❓Are you riding a bicycle❓
❓What do you think, is it possible to learn it 🚲 when you are an adult❓

❓QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ✅

Hi everyone! Here is your Prague tour guide Victoria. And today I’ll answer the most frequent questions, which I am getting in direct:

1️⃣Where can I see the offer of your tours❓

✅Follow the link in the bio, there are two buttons: Prague tours and short trips. On the webpage there is all the information about pricing, duration of the tour and what will you see.

2️⃣Can you guarantee the quality❓

✅”YES!” is my answer, for 200%. And if you do not like the service I WILL GIVE YOU MONEY BACK!

3️⃣ What will you recommend - group tour or private tour❓

✅For me myself I have decided that private tour is better. I see there more pluses - I remember more, I do not need to permanently check the time and be aftarid
that I will be late, wait for other tourists and try to get through the crowd to ask the tour guide a question🙈.
But in any case I am making a customized tour for you. And you can trust me on that!

4️⃣ Wouldn’t we get tired during the tour❓

✅My private tours are following -according to you we can make a break for tea/coffee/beer/lunch and all this will be done in such a way so you do not get tired 🤗. Even better - the time will fly and you’ll want more.

❤️And since we are having this topic today, I’m encouraging you to ask me any question in the comments👇 about Prague, tours, anything you want to know 😊

🚃HOW TO GET TO PRAGUE CITY CENTER FROM THE AIRPORT 🚃

👣Step by step instruction! 🔰Save useful post for yourself and press ❤️ for my time!

⚜️You came to Prague. I assume you have downloaded very important app IDOS already. While you are waiting at the passport control, you can use Prague airport WiFi. Go to IDOS and enter the final destination - the tram/bus/metro stop. For example, one of my tourists were staying at Lipanská station.

👉So we are going from the stop Terminal 2 to Lipanská. The app more likely will offer you the following route (screens are in the carrousel):

👣Get bus 119 and go till the final stop Nádraží Veleslavín.
👣Switch to the metro and go until station Můstek.
👣Then change for the tram and go till Lipanská stop.

🕰The way will last around 45-50 minutes, depending on the length of the switching. Therefore we are buying 90-minutes ticket for 32 CZK.

👈Exactly the same system we are using for getting back to the airport!
Choose the departure stop, e.g. this time we would start from I.P.Pavlova. Put in the stop in the airport: Terminál 1 or Terminál 2. More likely the app will show you the following route:

👣Get in the metro at I.P.Pavlova stop and go until the stop Muzeum.
👣Switch red line to the green line and go till the stop Nádraží Veleslavín.
👣At the stop Nádraží Veleslavín switch for the bus 119 and get off at the terminal you need!

⚡️And do not be afraid of the switching transports! It is very easy to understand! I am always going to the airport by public transport. This is a matter of principle in Prague. And I’m recommending you to do the same! Of course, if you don’t travel with the huge suitcase 🧳

⛔️I’m not recommending you to use google. Very often it is including in the route the buses, to which you have to buy tickets in advance.
⛔️Do not forget about the night transportation in Prague! At night (from around midnight till 4:30 am) the transportation numbers start from 9.

SO WHAT THE “PRIVATE TOUR” REALLY IS?

Do you know what is the most common question I am getting? “If there are two of us it is not private tour any more?” 😃 So, let’s see what does private tour actually mean.

Any tours are divided in to: 1️⃣ group tours and 2️⃣ private ones.

Group tour means that you come to a special meeting point, pay separately for each person and then follow the standard route. Can group tour be done for 2 people only? Yes! As well as there can be 32! 😃 The group tour concept is a fixed route, stop only on a defined places, accurate speed and timing. Would you like to stop and get the vase you liked or make few selfies? Than this version is not for you 🚫

Private tour is a PRIVATE approach SPECIFICALLY to your family, couple, group of friends, two families etc. Private tour = private approach. Here you have a possibility to change the route, add or remove locations, stop in a cafe you liked, take your time and make pictures - ALL THIS is possible during a private tour! You are a COMPOSER OF YOUR DAY and I am helping you with it!

I am offering private tours🤗 I am fully concentrated on YOU! I am finding the right approach according to your interests🎀

The difference between the private and group tour is not in the amount of people 🙅 but in the approach! ☝️ In the route flexibility, convenience of the program and sympathetic attitude to customer♥️

Private is for YOU! Group tour is for everyone!

BIG AND LITTLE AMERICA IN CZECHIA

Are you surprised?😉No worries, I haven’t changed the country. Today I’m writing for those, who like to combine everything in their vacation and get maximum from it. Press ❤️and read further👇

When we are going to Prague we are preparing for the walk in the small streets, lots of architecture, we are looking for the best beer 🍺and gastronomic delights.

But we have no idea that only 33km away from Prague not far from the Karlštejn Castle there is a system of 17 limestone quarries. This is a very picturesque place, which bewitched the look and is created by humans and the nature. 🏞️ Check carrousel.

The biggest quarry is called Czech Grand Canyon or Big America. It is the most beautiful of all quarries. It’s size is 750х150 meters, the depth gains 100, and the depth of the lake is 13 meters.

The Canyon is equipped by the view points where you can admire the sheer cliffs and blue water of the lake, make really beautiful pictures.

Those who like extreme, you can walk around the quarry.‼️But be careful! The stones are really slippery and landslides happen often, make sure you have comfortable shoes.

The autumn is coming and soon the colors of the nature would be very picturesque. If you like the nature and would like to enjoy its beauty the Grand America Canyon is prefect for you!

I’m thinking what else to tell you about🤔 Maybe about Czech Sahara😃? Write in the comments what you would like to learn about?

And guess how old am I on the picture!

How to fall in love with Prague

All the things which happen in our life matter. When I was a student I was looking for a job to have some extra money. I am sure everyone perfectly understands me. I became a tour guide on Segway. But then Segways were banned in Prague.

I was too passionate with showing Prague to my friends and tourists so I decided to become a professional tour guide. I had my tour guide courses and took two national exams to receive a Prague Tour Guide licence. Then I realized I want to make Prague a special city for you!

I worked hard. As hard as you even can imagine! I had many tours and even more courses. I trained myself to become a real professional. Details matter to me. That is why my tours represent 5 star experience for every traveler. I guarantee you will learn a lot, you will feel with your tour guide like with your friend and you will have this feeling that you really want tot come back to Prague again!

I created my company Prague with Love. This is a strong professional team of young and enthusiast tour guides of Prague who do their job in a very extraordinary and interesting way. I am happy to be a part of this team, to lead my colleagues and together to provide 5 star experience!
