Puerto Princesa City Tour - Crocodile farm tour

Learn about the two types of crocodiles found in Palawan. The freshwater crocodile and saltwater crocodile. Most swamps and rivers in Palawan are infested with crocodiles so people are always advised to take caution when going to these areas.

After the museum, guests are then taken to the hatchery where baby crocodiles are born and raised. Inside, one can see crocodiles as young as one to four years old. The farm has hundreds of baby crocodiles bred in captivity and placed inside a huge of tub. They are transferred into a pen when they grow to a mature size crocodile.

Experience feeding the crocodiles and enjoy to taking pictures with a one-meter long baby crocodile with its mouth tied up.

The tour will last only for about 10 minutes and afterwards, you are free to roam around the mini-zoo where a variety of animals unique
to Palawan are kept. Bearcats, eagles, bearded pigs and other unusual animals.

In 2010, a group of environmentalists and geologists discovered that the underground river has a second floor, which means that there are small waterfalls inside the cave. They also found a cave dome measuring 300 m (980 ft) above the underground river, rock formations, large bats, a deep water hole in the river, more river channels, another deep cave, as well as marine creatures and more.
