Hey everyone,
Indian independence day isn't so far. We can easily correlate independence/freedom with traveling as well.
So, what about starting the freedom trend on BATI ?
1. Any article related to travel elaborating how it gives you the feel the feel of freedom.
2. Any travel picture or video having our Indian flag in it where you also explain how as an individual or group you try to make or showcase India as a country to travel.
3. Sharing any action/behaviour/suggestion of yours that you've done or recommend people to do which makes India a better place to travel and experience.
4. Any pic or video where you took your flag to the place(Trek or expedition etc.) or clicked yourself with the Indian flag which made you feel proud. It'll be so amazing if you can write few words about the experience.
Let's do it.
Don't forget to put a Hashtags to all your posts.

See you there.
When we talk about travelers, there are few who are very famous, so much active on social media channels sharing everything they do and they also make efforts to be noticed by more and more people.
Then there are few who are very well travelled, active on social media, share all the details but they don't believe in trying to spread it out for people to see what they are doing.
Sunil Arora is one of those travelers, who travel for himself, who also share all his experiences but never bothered if people are noticing it or not. He'll just do what he likes the most. I personally want people to notice the way he travels because there's so much to learn.
He's one of my favourites actually. I follow him almost for eight years. One fine day I come across a fb post where a man was traveling places with his "Lalpari", a red colored Ford Figo car, a car that he turned into his home.
I was fortunate enough to meet him and take a look into that home.
It was so fascinating to see how he travels nonstop for weeks once he step out. Once when I asked him how does he plan for the duration of his trips, he told me, that he think about a destination (Like any destination in India) and then starts. He keeps traveling until he likes it, stay in touch with his family especially his family over phone and whenever he feels like I'm missing family especially his wife Neeru, I simply take the road back to home. 😍
So this time when we decided to interview Sunil jee, we thought it'll be really nice to have Neeru mam around as well. So that we also get to know how she manages everything when he's traveling and how she feels like when they are traveling together. Especially when both of them did a Ladakh road trip in last few weeks in their newly bought car cm home.
We are really thankful for them to take out the time for the live interview.
We highly recommend to watch the live interview and feel free to ask your questions. If you have any question that you would like to ask in the interview, you can just comment here and we'll include few in the list of questions.
Priyanka will be the host.
Timing:
Date - June 13t
Timing - 9 PM.

I always say that sometimes, you might face thousand problems, struggle for every single thing while traveling but then few days are such when everything works for you. It feels like nothing can go wrong on the day. Few days ago it happened again. It was a day when everything worked. Hitchhiking, meeting strangers in a beautiful village, getting invited for lunch and then our host offered us to take for a small hike. It felt like nothing can go wrong. You stepped out walk few meters and got the lift. Every single time. Only thing that was left for us was, letting things happen and just enjoy it. And that's what we did. Enjoyed this day to the fullest... Road is from Joshimath to Pandukeshwar. Village name is Paturi.
BATI Kitchen Update: Day 8 So it was 8th day. In these 8 days, we've run the kitchen for 5 days. I've also attached the fresh purchase list which is approx Rs. 15K. Until today we've transferred total of 42 K to Arnab Akash Mondal for running the kitchen. Whenever we are able to get help from other sources, we use it and use our stocks on the following days. Yesterday and today, collectively more than 1700 people have been served food. From tomorrow there's prediction of more rains. So let's see. #BATIKitchen #YaasCyclone #WeAreBATI
Update: BATI Kitchen Day 4: Today 840 people were served food. All is going well. I made a video call to the people working there on the ground. I don't understand Bangla they don't understand Hindi. आंखों आंखों में ही बात हुई बस 😜. They were happy. Good thing is, a team contacted and they're coming tomorrow with cooked food for approx 1000 people. So tomm the kitchen will be off. Expenses so far is, Rs. 26785. Total 27K have been forwarded to the team. 3K has been given to another team headed by a BATIan in Puri. So altogether we have spent 30K. That's it for the day. #BATIKitchen #WeAreBATI #YaasCyclone
