Hey paddlers, check out the link above for the Hillsborough river trail map and trail report - we will be paddling the section from John B. Sargeant Park to Trout Creek Park - stopping at Morris Bridge Park for lunch - total distance is about 7.5 miles but there is a 1-2 mph current in our favor so I estimate trip length to be about 3.5-4 hours (not including lunch). Date for launch is Sunday, December 18th - would like to be up there and ready to launch by 9 AM. Please RSVP for trip by this Tuesday (12/13) so we can plan for who will need boats and rides. Paddle on....!

Beautiful, old Florida type scenery - handful of alligators, enough to not be unnerving...watch out for the downed tree about halfway through this leg. Leisurely paddle takes about 2 hours... Beware, that squirrel will mess you up...
