ey'll be able to let guests (givers)know what it is they really want to receive for their special occasion.This could be contributions towards a large single gift,ideas to gifts linked to a particular interest or hobby,or both.Details of the event and location can then be added to complete the process.The organiser can then share this link via social media,or email,with people they'd like to invite or make aware of the celebration. The original concept for this idea was formed during a visit to both sets of my son's grandparents over Christmas.Over the course of a week,Joe received over 40 presents.However just a few months later,we noticed only a very small selection were still being played with! Consequently I started to think about the amount of waste that these underused or unwanted gifts caused.When I spoke with friends,they also told me that their children often end up with lots of smaller value gifts that get discarded quite quickly as well.We ended up calling this the "brightly coloured noisy plastic" condition!
