Editing images and time traveling back to the start of this season which started in mid-May at Enasoit. They have had fabulous rain this year and the land is looking incredible and the wildlife is content and happy. A pretty epic start! 📷

Last but not least we spent two nights at Namiri Plains Camp in the Eastern Serengeti. 10 photos don’t even begin to capture the volume and variety of wildlife we encountered. It felt like we had the whole of the eastern Serengeti to ourselves 📷

Marching on - our second safari guided by Ninian and Kip started with 8 nights in the very spoiling Singita Serengeti Private house. With only 4 bedrooms it’s very much a home away from home in a spectacular setting. Great wildlife. 📷

Part one of the first safari was spent camping in our private camp on the banks of the Mara River. We saw so much.

Part two was three nights on Loisaba where we had the privilege of seeing a few of the black rhinos who have recently been reintroduced onto the conservancy. We have loved watching this conservancy go from strength to strength over the years.

We woke early at Serra Cafema (one of our favourite camps in Namibia ) and started moving before sunrise, walking through the cold Atlantic mist, following paths that led to one of the craggy summits above the Kunene river. I guess we had been hiking for an hour or so, sweating despite the chill, as we laboured up the steep sandy slopes, when suddenly the mist lifted to reveal the madly beautiful river valley below. We could look into Angola where the landscape glowed in the dawn light. The was no one else around. We heard a lark calling nearby, but otherwise it was silent. 📷
