I see my role as a photographer to tell stories. Stories that sit in my soul, that are sometimes coded with information, that is timeless. Children have always been a teacher of this innate wisdom. I took this photo in Khajuraho India in 2023. It still gives me that knowing that beyond all the chaos of living in this world, there is purity, that just needs to tapped into. Life is so mysterious. And thats where the medicine is for an artist. To defy and explore the realms of the unknown.

As a documentary filmmaker & photographer I rarely have pictures of myself because I’m always behind the camera. I love capturing life around me so much it’s truly my life’s path and soul blue print. This photo is taken at the yoni temple in Kamakhya India 2023. It really does show the essence of my life’s work as a female artist seeking the mother and finding my true path as a healer. After returning from this trip, I got diagnosed with an aggressive cancer, which has slowed me down but not stopping me from making films. I’m working on a film about the cancer journey from a personal soul perspective. If you’d like to share your story with me I’d love to hear from you. Images tell story. When I look through a lens I’m not seeing with my eyes, but with my soul. This feeds me. My cells. My heart. ❤️ I’m always looking for surprise, like a child. This photo I took right before a film interview with a Langa Musician in India. Months later I was diagnosed with cancer. I’m hunger to capture more life, tell more stories and live my life unapologetically with no filter. I am life. Love guides me. Thank you 2024.
