FISHING PATAGONIA Trout & Salmon Fishing Patagonia. The fishes are wild & large and the season is the longest in Patagonia - from September 15th until May.

The Puelo River is undoubtedly of the best and unique rivers in Northern Patagonia to fish Rainbow trout & King salmon - occasionally Brown & Atlantic trout and Coho salmon. Trout size can range from 1 to 3 Kgs. and it is not unusual to pursue trophy size trout, especially if the "sea-runs" are in. From December to March, you can fish 15 to 28 kgs King salmon (Chinook), fishing with lures or flies

, observing the incredible show of the salmon swimming back up the river and jumping in the deep river pools. Its climate, its stunning scenery, its people and the safety for travelers have placed River Puelo as one of the major fishing destinations in the world!
