Bellydance extraordinaire Tamalyn Dallal now LIVES in your neck of the woods. Tamalyn & Amar Gamal are hosting a weekend workshop intensive & show, Orleans Raks, in February. You should certainly consider going even if you need to dust off your hip scarf because it's been awhile!

My friend & fellow dance instructor Safira (Leigh Angela Dokos) also has a 6-week, local, instructional course where you can learn how to bellydance or brush up on your skillz before heading off to New Orleans for Tamalyn & Amar's weekend of classes. January is a great time for new beginnings or to revitalize a love for the dance that's been dormant for a bit. No doubt Tamalyn will be bringing in some fresh zest to the coastal dance scene & lucky for you, you have Safira for your weekly classes!

My bags will be packed tonight and I'm leaving first thing in the morning for Las Vegas (the first part of my trip before MS). If there are any special requests for Zumbawear, let me know. I won't have a huge selection like I did last time due to limited space in my luggage :)

We are challenging South Mississippi pet lovers to join us in a 12-hour* fight to save 120 lives.

There are so many ways that YOU can help. And here are the numbers to prove it:

22....Medium and Large dogs suffering colds--they need temporary foster homes for approximately 2 weeks.

17...Small dogs suffering from colds in need of foster homes.

12...Momma cats with litters of kittens in need of foster homes for approximately 4-6 weeks.

I'm returning to Mississippi this coming July 28,29, and 30! Save the date- July 29! I'm putting together a Zumba class (1 hour, 15 min) for everyone! No theme needed this time- we're getting back to good ol' fashion awesome Zumba dance songs! Brand new songs plus any special requests. I'm also holding Mississippi's first ever Hot Hula Fitness class! It's a dance fitness class with Polynesian dance moves. Great traditional drum beats mixed with modern reggae and hip hop. Awesome surprise going away party today in Gulfport! Thanks so much you guys!!! It was great spending a little more time with everyone today and I think the balloons added to the feeling and gave us all a little more energy for class today. And the first thing I did when I got home was eat ANOTHER piece of that strawberry cake haha :)
