Learn the basics of terrarium building, including plant and vessel selection, substrate-construction for healthy plant environments, color harmony, and plant care/maintenance. In the first class, you'll be guided in creating a terrarium utilizing a variety of plants, gravel, stones and decor
ative elements, and you'll take home your beautiful, completed terrarium at the end of the class. The second week, you'll have the opportunity to challenge yourself a little more making a tropical terrarium. We'll go over tropical plant selection and placement, environment construction, and maintenance. You'll create a unique botanical sculpture of your own design. Please wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty to both sessions.
