Hoping to do many things before my time is up including travel the world, have several of my own art shows, teach about art, and create a following. I often work with the theme of nostagia, dreams, imagination and creatation. However I also have interest in the idea of mass production and technology that is revolved around social media. I fine there to be more interest in the development of work then the finished product.

Peachy Wearable Planter!
Custom tied embroidered rope, three colours. Measures 50cm in length.

The peach planters have one drainage hole. These also can be worn as is or used with plants that don't require soil such as air plants or moss such as Spanish Moss.

These also can be decorative as a typical wall/hanging planter.

I've been pretty quiet this month with post but I've been working hard on a awesome line of shave bowls for ! The snake mugs are all done and its time to make some foxes too! These will be available mid to late November 2020! I'm so excited to share my work with a awesome local store in Calgary!

Felix is really feeling the heat this summer. I think i wanna start making a few small runs screenprints or wearable Fox Den Studio Products like pins, patches or dare I even venture into hand printed t-shirts. Does that sound exciting?

I cant wait to fire and glaze this cute planters I made up during covid19 closure.

They woukd be good for herbs or smaller leafy plants like Nerve Plants (Fittonia albivenis) or a Lipstick plant (Aeschynanthus Radicans).

At Fox Den Studio when it comes to packing the pieces I make, I tend to take some time to make sure they look pretty cute when you get them. I do also use alot of recycled materials as well. All my packages are double boxed and this was actually packed inside a plainsman clay box with a bunch of newsprint that my building gets every day that everyone throws out from there mail. Not always the most esthetically pleasing but environmentally conscious and sustainable.

Time for a instagram story sale!

Looking to refresh my home studio space and Im going to do a instagram story sale that features my snake carving mugs and a few extra items that may feature my old branding as well.

For local customers in Calgary only, free delivery is available or i can arrange other pick up methods on a case by case bases.

Outside of Calgary, you will need to come pick up your item in Calgary or pay for safe and secure shipping that I offer.

Say hello to my new Kiln God 🦊🦊🦊

In case you didn't know Kiln God's are a really interesting figures for Ceramic Artist. Though everyone's rituals vary many artist use this tokens to "guard" or "protect" their kiln while they are firing. Supposedly Kiln Gods bring good luck to kiln firing so nothing "bad", happens. Usually they are placed on the outside of the kiln, I usually place mine on the lid but I've know people who have used magnets to put them on this side and so on.

These are my favourite piece to make with all the craving. It's a labour of love and I remember back in university people said I was kinda crazy to make stuff with so much repetitive craving, so much work on one piece.
