young & old get to know that l.bunyonyi had a deaths penalt prison in its amidist.and that was a death punishment for ladies who would get pregnant before marridge,they were brought to "akampene island"to die from there.many ladies died by drowning in the lake on trial to swim back to there communities.all that happened before 1940s-and 1960s.currently its called akampene /punishment island.for more +256788147311.
