One of our favorite spots on the itinerary: Chena Hot Springs.

The Chena lodge is home to this world-class hot spring in addition to many other attractions. This stop will allow you to reach your peak relaxation point as you dip into the resort's healing, mineral-rich outdoor rock lake.

Introducing the world's largest year-round ice environment, the Aurora Ice Museum! This stop on the itinerary is sure to delight and bring you an experience like no other!

The entire museum is lit up with ice chandeliers that splay the colors of the Aurora Borealis across the glimmering walls. Everything, and we mean everything (including the restroom, or "ice outhouse") is made out of ice.

Happy ! We're excited to share another sneak peak of the places we'll visit while exploring Alaska - Pioneer Park! Our stop here will allow us to visit the Alaska of 100 years ago and experience the olden gold rush days.

Pioneer Park is a historic village that features original buildings moved from downtown Fairbanks, as well as museums and a Gold Rush town street.

Dennis has traveled to the Arctic and Subarctic more than 30 times to lecture about and photograph the aurora borealis (the northern lights) and has witnessed and photographed 18 total solar eclipses. He is one of only six Americans invited to TWAN (The World At Night), an elite international team of the most highly acclaimed night sky photographers on the planet, and has had his photos featured nine times as NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day.
