10 years of brewing!

Yesterday was a cold day but a 5-gallon batch of my White IPA (Snowy Peak) was brewed. Had the pleasure of having a new assistant brewer Luna and her (somewhat) trusty sidekick Dave D’Amato to support the brew day.

By far, the worst brewing, brew day experience ever...that’s what happens when you forget to attach your false bottom in the mash tun. Anyway, by the end of the day, 5.5 gallons of wort went into the fermenter, and today, fermentation is turning it into beer!

Our Story

Currently located in Dacula, GA. Gierlach’s Peak Brewing Company always welcomes friends and family to stop by and grab a drink, or six. Always willing to try different beer styles, I hope sharing and posting my brew experiences will make you want to visit and possibly drink some beer.

You may think this is all over-the-top, and you would be right.

Starting in January 2012, the start of my home brewing experience wasn’t just about making beer. It has always been about making high quality beer and giving it the look and feel of a commercial beer. In the end, it really is about, relaxing, not worrying, and having a home brew.
