Cold Smoke Splitboards Splitboard company in Crested Butte and Gunnison, Colorado. Distributes some of the most durable and efficient backcountry touring boards on the market.

Cold smoke - The result of a snowboarder making a turn through deep, dry powder. The effect of this action is a mass of seemingly weightless snow that resembles a cloud of smoke. Cold Smoke Splitboards arose from the rugged and unforgiving San Juan Range of Southwest Colorado, and as of 2013 all splitboards are handmade with top craftsmanship in Crested Butte. The people behind Cold Smoke Splitboa

rds have extensive backcountry experience and dedicate most of their time to Research and Development in the Rocky Mountains. The thing they love most? Standing sideways and riding steep and deep powder. Doing this requires trustworthy equipment in the most extreme conditions and terrain, so they have a commitment to excellence that will never be compromised. You can count on your Cold Smoke splitboard to rank high with the most durable boards in the industry. The Voodoo Splitboard has superior core strength and responsiveness even in the coldest weather, plus meticulously constructed steel edges and features unique to Cold Smoke Splitboards like the Camber Bubble and Powder Nose. It's a backcountry dream-machine.

We are deeply saddened to announced we will no longer be making boards. It’s been a very hard decision to make but at the end of the day it’s on our best interest to close the doors. We’ve had an amazing run over the past ten years! We’ve met so many amazing people and have ridden in some of the wildest places on the planet. We thank all of you that have helped us along the way and supported us since day one. Viva la Cold Smoke Crew!!
