Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to Central Islip from Penn Station 34th St

[LIRR, United States] Leaving the New York Transit Museum in Brooklyn I now needed to get to Penn Station on 34th St Manhattan. The Blue Line A&C will take me directly there so I had to find the Jay St station, not Borough on the Yellow Line that I had come from. After a brief lu...

The New York Subway is world famous along with London and Paris. While the network may seem baffling it is quite easy to use. I purchased a 7 Day Unlimited Metrocard to get the best use. I also used border transit on the New Jersey PATH train, Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), and S Shuttle to Times Square. There are stunning views crossing the Brooklyn Bridge. For subway enthusiasts the New York Metro Museum in Brooklyn is worth exploring too. Video compilation of all train rides (24 mins)

For my second day of biking I'd arranged to rent a bike from Blazing Saddles in Lower Manhattan by Pier 17. After first taking the Governors Island ferry for views of Lower Manhattan and The Statue of Liberty I then took the East River ferry to Dumbo, Brooklyn. From there you can follow the signs to bike or walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. In lower Manhattan I explore City Hall, Chinatown, Wall Street, and the World Trade Centre Memorial. Vlog (8 mins) -

[Bar Staten Island Ferry Terminal, United States] Having finished Biking now I was going to take the Metro to the south end to get the free Staten Island Ferry. A 7 day Metro pass is $33 USD plus $1 for the card. I'd tried to look yesterday to buy the card but you have to goto th...

First trip to NYC since the 80s! Porter Airlines has amazing Toronto skyline views on take off from the Island Airport (YTZ) but goes to Newark Airport (EWR) in New Jersey. There are various options to get to Manhattan. This is the CHEAPEST option by taking the PATH train from Newark Penn Station to 33rd St Midtown.

The City of Ottawa is flat and made for biking with the Rideau Canal and bike paths. You can also cross into Hull Quebec to see the views from both sides. The Egyptian Museum of Mississauga is an unknown treasure with exact replicas created by the Egyptian Dept of Antiquities of King Tuts (Tutankhamun) Tomb. There are three sarcophagus that fit inside each other and into a larger box. There is also a replica of the burial room with lifesize wall paintings. This is a multi use building and also houses a Coptic Church and Museum of Coptic Christian art.
