It’s now time to make your deposit for our 2026 escorted Christmas Market Cruise.

Well, I’ve spent a lot of time comparing Christmas Market cruises. I have compared dates, ports of call, excursions, deposit and payment deadlines, airfare, inclusions on the ship, the ship's quality, and the quality of the food and service.

Since the Christmas Markets are open from Thanksgiving until the end of December, we have chosen the timeframe after Thanksgiving and before Christmas. This will allow everyone to spend time with their family during Thanksgiving and let them get back before Christmas.

After comparing cruise lines and prices, we chose AmaWaterways. The cruise will be from December 5 to 12, 2026 on the Amastella. We will also offer a 4-night trip before the cruise, including the Swiss Alps, Zurich, the fantastic city of Lucerne, and the beautiful town of Basel. The package will consist of 2 nights in Zurich, with daily full breakfast and tour, 2 nights at a beautiful hotel on the shore of Lake Lucerne again with daily full breakfast and tour, and all the ground transfers from Zurich to Lucerne and the ship in Basel.

Here are some cruise highlights – wi-fi included, beer, wine, and sodas included with lunch and dinner, champagne and fresh juice for breakfast, 24-hour specialty coffee, a complimentary happy hour each day, complimentary Chef’s Table dinner, La Chaine des Rotisseurs specialty dinner, multiple shore excursion choices at each port, bottled water every day, wellness activities, fitness room, massage service daily entertainment, regional cuisines, bike tours, use of bikes, and more.
