Photo: ATLANTIDE HEADED TO HOLLAND FOR HUISFIT - The team of Royal Huisman and Huisfit is very honoured to earn the continued trust of Dr. Jim Clark, who commissioned the shipyard to carry out another new and very special restoration.
The 37m / 122ft classic motorsailer Atlantide was recently acquired by Dr. Jim Clark. Following the successful 2020-refit by Huisfit of his famous J-Class yacht Hanuman and with three newbuild orders completed by Royal Huisman - Hyperion (1998), Athena (2004) and Hanuman (2009) - in recent decades, he decided the same shipyard in Vollenhove should take care of his new acquisition Atlantide, as well.
Atlantide was built by the British yard Philip & Sons in the United Kingdom, and was delivered in 1930. Currently Atlantide is being shipped from Newport, USA, to the Netherlands where she is expected to arrive shortly before the turn of the year. More photos? See: Huisfit

Boken beskriver Christoph Rassys väg att från två tomma händer bygga upp det som med tiden kom att bli ett av världens mest respekterade och framgångsrika båtvarv, Hallberg-Rassy.

The Frers designed Hallberg-Rassy 42F was built during eleven years from 1991-2001. A total of 181 hulls were built, out of which 128 units as the 42F Mk II with developed transom with integrated swim platform and 53 as the Mk I with conventional transom.

Hallberg-Rassy re-introduces Hallberg-Rassy 94 Kutter with bilge keels

The Hallberg-Rassy 94 Kutter was previously built in 195 units between 1981 and 1994 and the special bilge keel version was an option. Now Hallberg-Rassy re-introduces this special model, with two extra keels at the sides. With this feature you can let the boat fall dry as in the photo, without falling over too much. This opens up a whole new market for Hallberg-Rassy.

The Hallberg-Rassy 94 Kutter is a charming motor sailor and a departure from the range of other Hallberg-Rassy yachts. This model with bilge keels does not have twin rudders but triple keels. The boat has a pilot house snd the hull reminds of the beautiful lines of a traditional Swedish fishing boat, but has a more pronounced keel. The 94 has a fuller hull than other Hallberg-Rassy designs from this era and a canoe stern and a full keel.

The first boat will premiere at Open Yard / Öppet Varv , Scandinavia's largest sailboat show, in Ellös, 21-23 August 2020.

This is a special edition that may only be ordered on 1st of April every year.

Hallberg-Rassy 41 was built from 1975 until 1981. A total of 105 hulls were built.

This was the first boat with a proper walk through to the aft-cabin below deck and the first Hallberg-Rassy with a blue stripe around the cockpit. The size of the boat and the outfitting was spectacular for its time: Pressured water, heated water, shower, electric anchor winch, headsail furling system, two separate heads, a powerful engine, solid and elegant wooden interior and gracious lines.

Our neighbor was having so much trouble with the head on his boat he broke down and installed this one. What do you think? He claims it never gets blocked. I offered him a thin chain with a pull handle on it but he declined.
