I’m Pamela Haack, and welcome to Strada Toscana, where we help curious travelers, creatives and experts to experience, explore and learn in an extraordinary place. After moving to Italy more than 15 years ago, I dreamed big, took a leap of faith and created Strada Toscana. In the beginning we were a boutique tour company, offering off-the-beaten-path tours for small groups of travelers. But over t

he years my vision grew more focused and my mission became more clear: to offer a uniquely special PLACE where creatives and intimate groups can meet, travel, learn and explore, as they immerse themselves in the beauty of Italy, and of life. WHAT We Do

We create and customize workshops, retreats, weddings and private trips – all based at a 17th century villa. The villa is reserved exclusively for your group, and we customize your stay with any number of private excursions or insider experiences. Over the years we’ve explored the countryside, befriending local Italians who are eager to create and host insider experiences and activities for you, their special guest. This network of local connections is our heartbeat. ❤️

Because our team is based in both the U.S.A. and Italy, we’re able to seamlessly gather your requests, then make it all come together.

What a picture perfect day with our friends at ! Alicia and her creative group of flower enthusiasts toured the gardens and then cut flowers to design their own unique bouquets. It’s a week of nothing but floral inspiration, and we’re here for it! 😊

Another adventure-filled day in Chiusi where we explored tucked-away treasures and discovered soooo many amazing historic sites. And this group rocks!

Oh my gosh! What a spectacular (although sometimes drizzly) day exploring the incredible vie cave of Sovana and Pitigliano. A few rain showers couldn’t slow this fabulous group of curious explorers! And oh how beautiful it was!

We’re stunned and amazed at this creative, curious and caring group of linocut artists! Anastasia knocked it out of the park as an instructor, with insight, expertise and patience. Today we say goodbye, for now, and take some time to reflect on how fortunate we all are to have these special, shared experiences. 😍

Just hanging out with and her super-fun group of print-makers; in a gorgeous vineyard, learning how to harvest grapes. Thanks to for a wonderful day that included a delicious lunch. (The focaccia pizza might have been my favorite). And what beautiful, sunny weather we had! ☀️

What an inspiring week it’s been, with a truly talented group of collage artists. It all began in this sweeping vineyard in Tuscany, and ended with gorgeous landscapes, collaged with hand-painted papers in our studio space in Citta della Pieve. 😁
