Helping to ensure balance and harmony, our ancestors used Ke Ala o Ka Mahina, or the moon’s phases,as a guide to sustain life and maintain environmental, physical, and spiritual balance. Many still rely on and use traditional Hawaiian knowledge to guide not only fishing and farming activities but the daily activities within their family, personal, and work environments. Various moons were selected to show different moon stages from all three of the anahulu making up the 30-day Hawaiian moon cycle. Each reflects the importance of balance, keen observation, and harmony in Hawaiian life.

A jewelry store in Lahaina on Front Street carried our line for over 15 years. The store no longer stands and I’ve been told most of their employees have lost their homes.
The Made in Hawaii Festival is just days away and as we prepare, it’s with a heavy heart and Maui on our minds. Our profits from this show will go direct to the families from this special little jewelry store that have been affected by the fires.
