TRYSON TEMBO
The Directors and Shareholders of Mwambashi River Lodge are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Tryson Tembo as the Camp Manager of their River Lodge.
Tryson, affectionately known as TT, was promoted to this post after serving as the Lodge’s Senior Guide since 2020 and prior to that he had worked as qualified guide since joining them from Kiambi Lodge in 2004.
TT, a Zambian National, had risen through the ranks from first working as driver for Safari Par Excellence within the Zambezi Valley in 1997, then training as a canoe guide with the same company, taking on more responsible roles as he brought his experience to both Kiambi and Mwambashi River Lodges.

These are some of the exquisite pieces of jewelry which a group of women in Mugaramena community, located in the Lower zambezi, have made. CLZ taught these ladies the skill of making jewelry and specifically out of used or scrap paper. CLZ now acts as their agent in which they can sell the jewelry on behalf of the ladies and give the earnings back to the ladies. This initiative has also given an opportunity to women in the area to get involved in the tourism industry and earn an income where before there was little opportunities presented to women in the area. These merchandise can be purchased at CLZ or other neighbouring lodges.
