Our first year renting our home and our reviews on airbnb are 5* and 10/10 on Booking.com. We are so incredibly grateful to our wonderful guests.
We were so nervous in case it was not as lovely as we thought it was, that we failed to meet expectations and our guests did not have the holiday they expected - so we now intend to have a celebration!

We often go up to the roof terrace of our home and watch the sunsets. I've never seen anything quite like them, the photo below does not do them justice, streaks of hot red, orange, greens and yellows. Just wonderful.

Why not treat your mum, your friends, to an Autumn holiday in the beautiful Algarve. Sit on your terrace, or roof terrace, and watch the sunset, cocktail in hand.

We love the way one of our bedrooms turned out. It has a traditional log ceiling, and a view out to the gardens of Aldeia do Golf. It is light and bright, and although smaller than the other two bedrooms, we are really pleased with it.
We have two more projects in the pipeline at the end of the year to make our house more enjoyable for guests, and for us - either a new bathroom, or a patio extension with an outdoor food prep and large BBQ. We spend most of our time outside - so the patio extension might win ...
We would also like a log porch to grow more of the gorgeous bougainvillea over. So we shall see.
