⚜️The Specola Museum, one of the highlights of the University of Florence's museum system, has finally reopened!⚜️
🦋More than 2,000 square metres have been renovated and modernised. You can admire the new itineraries dedicated to the beginnings of ceramics, botanical waxes and mineralogy, which flank the collections of zoology and precious anatomical waxes based on the earliest dissections, next to the Wunderkammer of Lorenzo de' Medici's personal gems, the Hall of Skeletons, Galileo Galilei's tribune, a rare example of late neoclassical Florentine architecture, and the Astronomical Tower, to which La Specola owes its name. 🪷🌿

🌿🌸Spring with its bright colors is here in Buenos Aires, starting a succession of flowering of different species that beautify the city even more. The lapacho tree and its pink flowers bloom towards the end of the cold months and is the first of a cycle that lasts about six months. The species is native to northern Argentina and was incorporated into the trees of the city on the initiative of the landscaper Carlos Thays, adapting well to the climate of Buenos Aires🌸🌿

Discover Procida island, famous for its colorful houses, Italy's Capital of Culture 2022, located near the northwest entrance to the Bay of Naples. It is the smallest Island and one of the best hidden gems of Southern Italy located between Ischia Island and Cape Miseno on the mainland. Of volcanic origin, it consists, along with the adjacent Vivara Island, of four extinct craters. Parts of the margins of all four have been destroyed by the sea to form crescent-shaped bays on the east side of the island. The only town, Procida, lies to the northeast; its castle is now a prison. Enjoy a walk among the island neighborhoods: the port of Marina Grande, the old town of Terra Murata, the fishing village of Marina Corricella, the port of Chiaiolella, all around crystal clear coastline.

Nestled among sun-kissed olive trees, from the large bench one can rediscover the wonder of childhood, always marveling at little as when one was a child. Sit there and feel the sensation of enjoying the view as if one were a child again. Admire the wonderful panorama that embraces the entire Valdinievole with Montecatini Terme in the foreground, to the right the small villages lying on the hills of Cozzile, Massa, Colle di Buggiano, Buggiano; in the distance Montecarlo di Lucca, to the left the wetlands of the Padule di Fucecchio, and in the background to close the horizon the chain of Monte Serra and the Monti Pisani.
These are the "most splendid views ever seen," as Grand Maestro Giuseppe Verdi declared when he came to "pass the waters" in Montecatini Terme: the blue of the sky and the orange of the sunsets.

Discover Paseo Victorica, a short street bordering the Lujan River nearby Tigre River, an exceptional place, combining nature, river views, gastronomy, rowing clubs, historical sites. Take your time to visit two of the most interesting museums in Tigre. The first, halfway through the tour, is the Naval Museum of the Nation, where you can go through the history of navigation with models and historical pieces. The second museum is located just at the end of Paseo Victorica, next to the Municipality of Tigre. It is the Tigre Art Museum, one of the most charming spots in Tigre.
In addition to the plants, the sun and the river, Paseo Victorica passes by a large number of rowing clubs. Many of these, but not only them, operate in old houses of the early twentieth century, with their floors, their roofs, their decorations, their gardens. Walking along this riverbank, the air you breathe seems to come straight from the belle epoque!
