September has always been my favorite time of year to sail. Why, you ask?

After Labor Day weekend, the crowds are mostly gone - yet everything is still open
Beautiful weather - low humidity, plenty of sunshine and a great breeze
Typically much easier to get moorings and dockage (if you've ever tried to get a mooring on Block Island, you know what I mean)

New Fleet Additions - Jeanneau Yachts 51 and Jeanneau 349

Hello Friends,
Steve Fischer with Bluenose Yacht Charters here with some exciting news for this year's 2018 season. We recently added two new boats to the fleet, a Jeanneau Yachts 51 and a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349. Both are new for 2018.

The Jeanneau Yachts 51, "Iolar Mara," is a three-cabin, two-head yacht with all the amenities including a generator, AC, electric winches, in-mast furling and a generous galley and salon. I have spent a lot of time on this model, these boats are truly exceptional.

The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349, "Beach House," is also new this year and is a two-cabin, one-head yacht. The 349 model is both comfortable and fast, with lots of "big boat" amenities. An outstanding option for ease of sailing and running the boat.
