George Kouz's shop in Al-Nasara Quarter, the Old City
The restoration began two years ago, and unique and rare artifacts were discovered in the shop
Such as :

The oldest wall is behind the western wall of the shop, and it was used as a wall of the Roman legion camp (the battalion/army), which was stationed in this place after the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in the year 70, or as the wall of the Roman forum (field) that preceded the construction of the Church of the Resurrection

A water well from the Crusader era adjacent to a rock from the Roman era on which the wall was built, and it is one of the oldest walls of Jerusalem

Three arches from different time periods, Crusader, Mamluk and Ottoman

Magdala is a beautiful place to visit & meditate as this is one of the towns Jesus passed through many times the Sea of Galilee Area 👣

This mural is a beautiful reimagining of a powerful story of faith - it comes from the story in Mark 5 where the hemorrhaging woman touches the hem of Jesus’ cloak to receive healing.

However, there’s even more to know about the room. The floors are actually the real first-century streets of Magdala’s fishing ports. The design of the chapel where this mural is held was inspired by the ancient synagogue that was recently found there, and even the colors of the paints were specifically chosen by matching the original synagogue pigments.

It’s so cool to see not only the care and detail that went into constructing this chapel but also such a wonderful representation of a woman of faith!

☝️This is Timna National Park, one of the most stunning sites in all of Israel. Timna Park is full of beautiful and interesting natural sights!

Today, visitors to Timna enjoy many hiking trails and campgrounds, while observing the stunning desert landscapes and uniquely shaped boulders. There are also mines to be explored that date back to 4500 BC!

We are amazed to see the wonders of nature in Timna. And we know that such incredible views could never have been an accident. All of nature has been designed by our Creator, and it silently shouts his glory.

At the beginning of creation, God looked at his creation and declared it “very good!” That included Timna! Today, we enjoy his beautiful creation of Timna Park and are thankful that he allows us to enjoy it.
