After a wonderful stay in the Netherlands with friends and our dear families, after a French party in Marseille for New Year's Eve, the four of us (Coco and Roxy behind the camera this time) toasted to 2025 last night! With lots of ❤️ we have renovated, furnished and equipped our 2 XL holidayhomes ( for 12 to 15 p) with all luxury and comfort.
The summers are almost fully booked ( there is still some space in the LOFT at the beginning of July) but call your holiday friends or family together because there is still some room in the early and late season!

A beautiful walk at Cap Leucate..most hikes there are around 7 km. As a reward you can descend afterwards for a cup of coffee at the beach, la Franqui. Or....you drive to port Leucate for fresh seafood and a glass of white.🦪🥂

Summertime in Narbonne!!
For all our guests this is nice and close and really a super cozy town to visit:.
Narbonne has nice shops, on the Canal du Robine, nice restaurants, A cool market hall (the most beautiful market hall in France in 2023) and a beautiful cathedral! I

I love to stroll through the streets of Narbonne!

"You ask me what the biggest compliments is for us". Well...when guests become returning guests. At this very moment we have returning guests in both houses. In our MANOIR is an enlarged family that has been in our LOFT twice before!

And what's even a bigger compliment is when guests from our former B&B become guests in one of our Xl boutiqehouses.
In 2025 five weeks have already been booked by 'familiar faces'. We are grateful for the trust they have in us and our houses!

Quite a few bookings have been made for 2025 already and our first two weeks in 2026 (!) Have been booked as well! ( returning guests, 3 lovely families, from our former B&B)

Ooh and by the way, there are still some weeks available in September and October this year in both our LOFT and MANOIR. So if you ( and your friends or family) feel for a nice holiday ( together) ....just send me a pm ...

September and October and October are still beautiful in the sunny south of France!🍇🏞🏜🌞

You see one of our 4 large entrance doors of the LOFT; this is where the grapes used to be driven in. The grapes were then put in one of the concrete wine barrels where they could ferment into wine.

Oh yeah, and next to the door you can see one of the two beautiful outdoor lamps. These used to be French street lamps and are now used as outdoor lighting!

And guess what, during a bike ride along the Canal du Midi I came across a whole pile of lamps, some broken, some still usable. After a phone call to Grand Narbonne where we indicated that we would like to buy the lamps, we were told that we could pick them up! For free! Wow, I was so happy!

I think they look stunnig and fit in really well with the industrial look of the building, the Loft. Don't you think?

Onze wijnreis die we samen met Gasterie Lieve Hemel organiseren gaat bijna weer van start! Van 21 tot 28 september is het weer zover... Er is nog plek voor gezellige levensgenieters want dat is wat we gaan doen in september!
Zin in? Even een kort berichtje naar ons of naar Heidy van Gasterie Lieve Hemel en je krijgt alle antwoorden op je vragen!

This beautiful blue photo (no, not photoshopped🙃) I took this morning from our Loft. Every time new guests come, we always go and meet them personally. Just because we like to meet our guests. Our guests also always like to meet the people behind the company, because after all, you rent from people and not from an organization.

We can also answer any questions and share some last local tips. (Our guests also receive a lot of tips by email and in our information guide. A week is often much too short to discover our beautiful region) After that, we consciously choose not to 'disturb' guests during their stay, after all, they rent a private holiday home that they want to enjoy together with friends/family!

But if guests need us, we can be reached quickly by phone or app.)

The first harvest! The apricots are really super tasty this year, deliciously sweet and juicy!

I can't wait until the kakis and figs are ripe. I make jam from the figs and apricots, because in the welcome basket there is certainly no lack of a nice jar of homemade jam!

And those kakis we also put in the basket in the season and the rest....we eat it ourselves!

The crickets are already deafening, the sun is shining brightly, the first village parties have already been, the beach beds are ready on the beach and around our pool and the wine may be waiting for

Because....in our Manoir (and also in our LOFT from 6 to 13 July) there is still room until 20 July! Don't hesitate, there is also a last-minute offer for smaller groups!
