African Moon Adventures has been a dream of mine since the early 90’s and in 2015 the dream has become a reality. As owner operater I have been very fortunate in life to travel to many countries around the world and extensively around South Africa, Namibia and

Botswana. My love for the beauty of my own country was an inspiration to start African Moon Adventures so that I can show others what I have seen and experienced.

The Steinhaus family from New Jersey and the Share’s from Philadelphia 🇺🇸 was treated to a cold and somewhat wet day in the Cape. At least we saw the sun yesterday. After the morning spent in V&A Waterfront it was off to Kanonkop Wine Estate 🍷 followed by Babylonstoren. After a short walk in the rain on the farm I took them to check in at Boschendal. Thank you all for the support and Adam & Annie for my Paul Sauer 🍷😊

The beautiful people from Texas had only 1 day in Cape Town and it had to be today 🥶 At least they got to experience a glimpse of the Cape of Storms down at the point. Marissa & Darrin I look forward to your next visit, less hunting up north and more Cape Town 😂 Thank you so much for your kind generosity. Safe flight on United tonight.

It was a much longer day than usual but I was in great company with Tatyana, Borris and Justin from Staten Island, NY 🇺🇸 Weather was so good around the Cape Peninsula for a change 😎 Thank you Deep South Distillery for accommodating us at short notice. Boris did not want to leave but at least I dropped all on time at La Colombe for dinner 😊

Cape Town is a great winter destination, but not this past week. We have had so much rain and flooding but the show must go on. Thank you to the super family from New Jersey 🇺🇸 for touring with me in the rain. Ken, María, Alexis & Justin is the prime example of, a family that plays together, stays together. See you all in 2 weeks time. Enjoy the bush! 🐘🦒

Today was the worst day ever I had to do a tour in. It was a storm of note but my brave and kind Japanese/American clients Tracy, Ryusuke & Masaru just took it in their stride. They did not even complain about getting soaked at Boulders 🐧 Just wish I could make their day more special with better weather. May the weather gods be kind to them in Serengeti.

Wow, wow, wow and another WOW! Now I know why FYN picked up the award in Vegas last week as the 60th best restaurant in the world. Thank you so so much Peter Tempelhoff and Jennifer for our VIP treatment at FYN Restaurant yesterday. It was simply amazing. Taste explosions with every bite. Every delicious dish paired with brilliant wines, oh and the Sake and cocktails🍹
When you come to Cape Town you cannot leave before experiencing FYN!
