Latest Project: Custom 26ft Haven model. This project is being custom designed and built for a client. We look forward to seeing it take shape and sharing the process with you all. Here are some initial design photos we modeled for our client.

We have a couple unique features that we are excited about with this tiny home such as a rainbow suspension bridge between lofts and also a couch that has so many uses (couch, storage space, desk options, table options, Full size bed, and a second couch option)! We were contacted by a woman who wanted us to help her convert her newly acquired 1996 Ford Club Wagon into a mobile full-time living situation (Vanlife).

Initially we were contracted to do all the insulation, flooring, walls, ceilings, and electrical... but she ended up wanting us to tackle more of the load by taking on the bed with cubby shelves, upper cabinets, bench seat, partition wall, night stand, above cab storage, table slide outs, kitchen modifications, and countertop epoxy coating. This project took about 8 weeks to complete including client coordination and holidays.

Our client still wanted to have a hand in making this dream a reality, so she came out and scraped off old window tint, cleaned, painted, stained, wood burned, and lacquered practically everything on her van.

We definitely enjoyed helping her make her dream van setup come to life and are excited to hear about all the adventures it takes her on!

This custom designed 36 ft long x 10 ft wide, not so tiny, Tiny Home was the inspiration for our Willow model. However, this edition is much larger and more spacious to allow for the possibility of future wheel chair accessibility. This Tiny Home was built on a refurbished trailer provided by the client. We completed this project in just 12 weeks (May-August, 2018).

1973 VW Vanagon Restoration:

We were approached by a client to see if we were interested in creating different kinds of "alternative living" solutions. We decided that it would be fun to try our hand at creating a really tiny, but functional space. We also felt it would be somewhat nostalgic to go back to our roots rehabilitating spaces (flipping houses) rather than building completely new!

This Vanagon needed a lot of TLC but we were really happy with how it took shape as a completely reimagined and redesigned space!

Update: We worked through the night and tragically got hung up on some of the finishing/final details. We will now be finishing it up over the next couple days and we will be driving it back to Western Washington this next week ourselves. We did our best to make it up to the Vrabels and compensate them for some of their travel expenses. We were confident that the Van would be completed by the scheduled pickup date and it only became clear that this was no longer realistic once it was already too late. It personally KILLS me not to meet a deadline especially putting in all-nighters and several 100+ hour weeks just to get it done on time. I am realizing more and more that things not going according to plan is just part of what they call "Van-life."

New progress pictures will be posted and the final photos(hopefully a video walk through as well if we can manage it) will be posted within the next week or two! Thank you for following this new project venture as we navigate these inherent surprises that come with new territory.

Original Post: We have been working some crazy hours to wrap up this camper Van. We are on the final stretch and are super excited to share the radical transformation with you all! Finished photos will be posted this Saturday! 😀

“Yeah right, like I could build this!” Were the words a much younger version of myself penciled in the margins of a survival handbook when seeing a sleeping quarters cabin atop a flat-boat...

It took me a while to figure out that those words were in fact mine! It was my handwriting, but I couldn’t believe that I had thought that at one point! The moral of the story: no matter how daunting or impossible something may seem, in time it may be but a trivial task for the future, better self you will become. SO DREAM BIG!
