This is the 2nd annual Chill on the Hill event. Last year is was very well attended. So much so that the parking lot was full and cars were parked up and down Main Street. Plan ahead and get there early if you want to get a parking spot.

Don't forget we are only 8 days away from Chill on the Hill. Check out our website. www.chillonthehillnh.com

The Wolfeboro community lost a kindhearted person. Karen Baker, the founder of The Country Bookseller has passed away. I've known Karen since the late 90's. I met up with her back in 2020 to talk about her bookstore so I could write a piece for my blog. Here it is.

A Wolfeboro bookstore, The Country Bookseller, located in the Durgin Stables building, is much bigger than it looks from the front window. With 18,465 books on-hand, there is something for everyone. Karen Baker, founder and owner, hand-picks titles based on customer preferences and what she thinks w...

No ice-in yet.

Temperatures have been mild this winter, and with a lot of open water on Lake Winnipesaukee, it's still not clear when – or if – ice-in will be declared this year.

Wolfeboro Vacation Stays

Offering one vacation cottage rental in the heart of Wolfeboro, and one vacation rental on wheels.

We have been offering vacation rental homes since 2005. Our first vacation rental offering started in Bartlett NH; a vintage mountain cabin nestled into the hillside with a mountain view (now sold and retired as a vacation rental). From there we added a second property in Wolfeboro 2006 that is located on a dead end street surrounded by trees yet close to town. In 2016, we added the Brick House to our rental offering to accommodate large groups and families (recently sold and retired as a vacation rental).

In 2019, we purchased a Class C RV and added it to our vacation rental offerings. The 24' Class C is the prefect size to drive and park, and spacious enough to feel comfortable when set up in the campground.

Our passion for home design (Julie is a home designer) and gathering with friends and family has enabled us to create comfortable homes for vacationers and travelers to gather with loved ones in a private and relaxed setting.
