T’is the season to give! And if you’re thinking about gifting travel this Holiday season…

First of all, your giftee is lucky to have you in their life.

And second of all, here are a few tips for a perfectly executed gifted trip:

🎁 If possible, to keep things open-ended. Unless you’re 100% sure someone can depart on the exact dates you decide, it’s worthwhile keeping things flexible, just in case.

🎁 You may want to forgo pre-booking something. Instead, gift a token that represents the trip, like a map, brochure, or travel-related items, and then allow the person you’re gifting to plan the trip with a trusted travel advisor.

🎁 Sometimes it’s not the trip. It’s the journey. You may want to make the person you’re gifting a part of the travel planning process and give them VIP treatment by having an advisor who can curate and do the heavy lifting of booking the travel once they decide where they’d like to go.

Summer trip inspiration incoming ☀️

What are the best islands for summer getaways to the Caribbean? 🌴

It’s hard to choose favorites—there are so many amazing things to see and do on every island, but these three are my top picks during the summer months.

Barbados – Spend a week exploring Crane Beach, famous for its pink sands and turquoise waters, and immerse yourself in the island's rich culture with a visit to Bridgetown to explore local markets and history.

Bermuda – I always book snorkeling excursions and Hamilton city tours for my clients, and they come home raving about the pink sand beaches and the island’s mix of British charm with Caribbean vibes. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for both adventure and relaxation.

Dominican Republic – Zip-lining through the jungle and swimming in cenotes are must-do activities in the Dominican Republic. Whether you're staying in Punta Cana or exploring the historic town of Santo Domingo, adventure and relaxation await!

Inspiration Alert!
It may be chilly here in Lubbock, but all the photos I’ve been staring at of the turquoise Caribbean Sea are reminding me of warmer places. 🌞

Right now, I’m working on an itinerary for a client heading to the Bahamas for their family getaway. They’re looking for a blend of relaxation and adventure, so I’m suggesting they stay at either Atlantis Paradise Island or Baha Mar.

I love these two resorts for their perfect mix of luxury, family-friendly activities, and unforgettable experiences. Atlantis is famous for its expansive water parks and marine life experiences, while Baha Mar offers world-class golf, spas, and plenty of opportunities for beach relaxation.
