Hey everyone! Just wanted to update and remind everyone that we are still very much in need of donations and shares. We just got a bill from the hospital for a whopping $48,000. That doesn't include any physical therapy treatment, medications that insurance doesn't cover, gas to and from appointments (he pretty much has at least one appointment per day during the week), and our regular bills that are very difficult for me to cover on a single income... that bill is only for the 4 day hospital stay and diagnostics done there. I am working as many hours as my job will let me but that puts strain on Jay having to be at home alone when he still has a hard time getting around. Your help is still very much needed and extremely appreciated.
Jay is doing a little better but pain management is unable to get him an appointment until next week so he is in immense amounts of pain every single day with just anti-inflammatories on board and no pain medication. We can't afford to pay out of pocket for his prescription and the pharmacy won't fill pain medications without clearance from the pain clinic. Being in so much pain prevents him from being able to get any kind of quality sleep which in turns keeps me from getting much sleep either. No sleep means prolonged healing.
Meanwhile, I've just had an MRI for my hip due to an old line of duty military I jury that may show that I need surgery, as well. Obviously, I can't do that until Jay is healed because we can't both he broken and out of work. Stress is stacking up quickly and we need your help!!
Please please please re-share on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, where ever you can. If you are able to donate, please do. You guys are great and your continued support means the world to us. Thank you all for all the donations, shares, prayers and kind words. God bless!!
