My 1st trip of next year will be a mystery trip, and I'm sooo glad so that I can get some element of surprise in this dull lil life I got 🙄🤣🤣🤣🙄.

I won't find out where I'm going until I get to the airport. All I'll know beforehand is the weather, and if I should wear any particular color. How dope is that???

I read this story and it broke my heart. As an avid traveler myself, I used to decline travel insurance because it would add more money to the price of the trip.

Just like everything else in life, we never know what's going to happen and when it's going to happen. Imagine getting seriously hurt in another country and not being able to leave that country to get the treatment that you need until you pay the hospital the medical costs in full. Wowsers!!!

More of the story: consider getting travel insurance. Yes it may cost you more, but the alternative will cost you way more. Which more will you choose???? As a travel advisor, I always suggest that my clients get travel insurance as a protective mechanism. Travel insurance me please!!!

I've prayed for this man and his family and prayerfully he's home and on the road to recovery.

The family of a man who grew up in Miami said an explosion burned more than half his body during a vacation with friends in Medellin.

Did you know about airtags?

AirTags are little devices that you can put in your checked suitcases and/or carry-on bags to track ya stuff. I personally have item locator tags attached to my keychain, on the back of my remotes, and I put a airtag in my suitcases, cuz sometimes I be losing stuff 🙄🙄

If an item with an AirTag on/in it gets lost, you'll be able to locate it by using your iPhone. You of course have to set it up prior to putting it in the bag in order for it to work effectively. They also have these type of devices available for Android users as well. You can purchase these items off of Amazon.

Imagine losing your bag, but being able to go to the airlines desk and showing them exactly where the bag is located. That's pretty dope right? That definitely makes things a lot easier.

Traces of Sunlight Travel Tea Tuesday tip 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾
Did you know that a lot of hotels and resorts have luggage storage rooms? Just ask them. Even if you're not actually staying at that hotel but you need some place to store your luggage, call the hotel and ask if you're able to store your luggage there. All they can do is say yes or no right???

I'm helping plan activities for one of my clients that is traveling to Chicago. She told me she wanted to rent a car so that she can have a place to store her luggage after she checks out of the hotel. Now, as a travel advisor, I could have booked the car for her and received commission from it, but I always like to do what's right for my clients!

I called the hotel and found out that they had a luggage storage room. When she checks out of the hotel, she can store her luggage there safely for free, and just come back and get it right before she heads to the airport.

Y'all!!! She was so happy that I told her about that, as it saved her a few hundred dollars from getting a rental car just for that reason. She thanked me so much and was so grateful that I was willing to save her money 🤑💖.
