The ladies locker room at Maesdu Golf Club has been fully upgraded and is now open. In addition to members lockers there are lockers with £1 coin slots for visitors. The washroom area has been upgraded with 2 showers and a changing area, 3 toilets and a powder room.

There was an opening ceremony last month when Lady Captain Christine Kershaw cut the tape watched by Captain Richard Triggs and President Geoff Eschle.

News from Maesdu - Simon Boulden, our PGA Professional at Maesdu, has kept golf in the family! Oldest daughter and Maesdu Assistant PGA Professional Kim Boulden has recently got a new job teaching junior golf at Abu Dhabi Golf Club. Kim trained for three years and is now qualified as a PGA Professional. Youngest daughter Amy Boulden, age 17, and now with a golf handicap of +3 has had a very exciting year and played in the Junior Ryder Cup team at Celtic Manor. She is also Welsh Amateur Golfer of the year.
