Thanks to all the amazing families who came down and supported Drag Tales with – we’re back for more! Dragged Around London and are thrilled to announce our next FREE Drag Tales events coming up on 3rd November and 22nd December at 11am.

Bring your little ones for another fabulous story time session, where the stories in the books come alive in the most colourful way. Your support made the last event a success, and with continued love, we hope to keep this magic going into 2025!

We got sent this pic of these absolutely royalty who we booked for a 1500 person corporate event the other week. Apparently they had to turn people away at the door because everyone wanted to be in the room! Can you blame them with this stunning line up?!

There are some concerning comments on this article about the Drag Tales that Tania LeCoq will be doing in Harlow on 27th July. If you have children and happen to be in the area, we're really appreciate it if you could go along and support Tania just in case there are any TERFy protestors about.

took this gorgeous family out down Southbank today on the Going Down South tour. absolutely slayed the mincing, the dance-together AND the runway. Her dad at the end said that dancing in the street was quite outside his comfort zone, but honestly you wouldn’t believe it the way he worked our little makeshift runway outside the Globe.

It’s so rewarding to take people on a tour who really love visiting our city, telling them some of its absurd (and sometimes dark) history and to be able to talk about the history of drag - and give them a little taste of what it’s like to be fabulous on these grey streets! All eyes on us.

Facing reactions of those not expecting to see a drag queen prancing down Southbank blaring tunes from a little trolley is a joyous frontier of creating space for us weirdos in our society - and such a fun way to do it!

We wish we could spend every weekend having a tour of London by a Drag Queen! 😍

Alongside some of our wonderful participants, we visited London earlier this year on an Appetite Takeaway which included a visit to Q***r Britain, Gay's The Word and a fabulous tour of place important to LGBTQ+ history by Dragged Around London!

While this doesn’t involve any of our performers we think fans of drag in general might be interested in this film AVANT-DRAG! at the next .

The film offers an exhilarating and intimate look at the lives of ten Athenian drag performers who deconstruct gender, nationalism, belonging, identity, transphobia and racism. As entertaining as it is thought-provoking, the film challenges societal norms and reshapes perceptions about LGBTQ+ culture, proving that being othered never felt so familiar.

It’s been nominated for the Best Documentary Feature Award and its screening at the Curzon Soho on 27th June at 9pm.
