đ Friendly PSA from your Travel Advisor
â ď¸ If you want to travel over Spring Break or even this Summer (March-August) the time to book is NOW. Get those plans started, get those deposits put down and those reservations secured!
đ˛ Pricing is UP âŹď¸ . . . everywhere. That includes all things travel. What you could get for $3,000 a few years ago is not available now: sometimes even double or more. I have ZERO 0ď¸âŁ control over pricing. I ask that you set your expectations realistically and understand that I will do my best to get you the best pricing. Iâm sorry, but I donât have access to some secret vault with bargain prices on airfare. đ I DO have multiple vendors that I work closely with to compare pricing and find the option within your budget to meet your request.
đłâDealsâ are harder and harder to come by. Gambling time to see if the price comes down may leave you with less than ideal options and/or increased pricing. Resorts are booked or sold out, and then they have no need to offer "deals".

ď¸Availability is already low for summer travel. This is not a scare tactic - itâs honest and based on my research for current client requests. Travel is back.
đ This is busy season for our industry - your patience on our replies is SO appreciated! My turn around time for new quotes is typically 2-3 business days. But always shoot for sooner.
âłď¸ If you use a travel advisor (even if itâs not me) PLEASE donât waste our time asking us to look up trips that you arenât sure will happen. The internet is for looking, weâre here for advising and booking. I want to help everyone, but there arenât enough hours in the day. Please donât ask to âpick my brainâ if you have no intention of traveling or if you intend to book on your own. I only get paid IF you book through me and about AFTER you travel sometimes 60 days or more. If tomorrow we book trip for August, I won't get paid until September or even October.
đŤđź I try to reserve my evenings and weekends for my family. That has not been happening consistently as at the moment as Iâm posting this it's almost midnight and I'm finally wrapping up for the day.
đ I promise Iâm not trying to single out anyone. I know my job looks like fun. It is, and I absolutely LOVE â¤ď¸ it. What you donât see is the hours I spend on the phone when something goes wrong with a clientâs trip, the relationships I cultivate on my own time with our awesome suppliers, and the amount of time I spend âbehind the scenesâ making my clients happy and working for them. We all ask that you respect what we do, just like you would expect in your own place of employment.
