A quick message to say that after 6.5 years of planning magical vacations, I am stepping away for now to focus on family :)

🌊Disney Treasure News!

In December 2024, the curtain will open on a brand-new original Broadway-style production on the Disney Treasure. Joining a dazzling lineup of fan-favorite shows including “Beauty and the Beast” and “Disney Seas the Adventure,” will be none other than “Disney The Tale of Moana.” Debuting exclusively at the Walt Disney Theatre onboard the Disney Treasure, “Disney The Tale of Moana” will bring the adventurous journey of Moana, inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film, to center stage for the first time. The show will follow Moana as she embarks on an incredible journey to save her island after she is chosen by the ocean to restore the heart of Te Fiti. Fans of the original film will recognize many beloved characters like Gramma Tala, Maui and Tamatoa when they appear on stage, as well as songs from the film’s iconic soundtrack.

The 10/6 refers to the cost of a hat — 10 shillings and 6 pence. Did you know that ‘the mad hatter’ was a creation of Walt Disney? Hatter was never called ‘the mad hatter’ in Lewis Carroll’s stories, he was just called ‘Hatter’. ‘Mad as a hatter’ actually pre-dates Lewis Carroll’s time, and wasn’t used by him specifically. He did use ‘A Mad Tea Party’ and Cheshire Cat said ‘they’re all mad’. Fun facts 😉

You'd be mad as a hatter to not want to visit our friend Hatter at Disneyland! He's so much fun to have tea with! Make sure to state your business! I always like to make sure mine is 'fun', which means I’m in the funny business!

Congratulations to the C & C families who will be spending a few days this winter at Walt Disney World! They will be staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort in the Finding Nemo Suites and hitting the parks for a couple days. Pst...mom is excited for the Disney Skyliner. With good reason...it's one of my favorite transportation options, too!
