The Active Aging Center in Centreville at the YMCA will open at 9am and the Senior Centers will be open regular time tomorrow although with schools being closed we will not offer classes, meals or transportation to the centers. Our home delivered meal program will also be suspended tomorrow due to weather

Due to ongoing extreme heat and a dangerous heat index, the County Cooling Centers are available for any community members in need of a cool retreat until August 30, 2024. The Department of Community Services will be opening their buildings for use by the public with ice and water available. The following locations will be open from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday through Friday, August 20, 2024 (unless otherwise noted in the Senior Centers monthly calendars found here https://md-queenannescounty2.civicplus.com/206/Senior-Centers) :

Sudlersville Senior Center

Grasonville Senior Center

Kent Island Senior Center

January 19, 2024, Queen Anne's County Government is closed today due to inclement weather. Essential employees must report as scheduled.

Update - Grasonville Senior Center is closed today
Update - Kent Island and Sudlersville Senior Centers are closed for today.

Due to the inclement weather, there will be no Senior Center classes or meals, no transportation to Senior Centers, and no Home Delivered Meals. The Annapolis route for transportation will not be running. There may be more cancellations announced as conditions change.
