On behalf of the LGBT Community Center of New Orleans we would like to extend our condolences to the family, friends and to the countless number of lives that were touched by the sacrifice and hard work of Monica Roberts! She was a trailblazer for transgender rights and her advocacy changed the lives of so many including myself. It was an honor to have known her and this world though changed by her presence is a much sadder place without her in it. Rest in Paradise knowing that your work will continue on!!!
