Hiking tour to the top of mountain Bjelašnica. One of the highest mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the top of the mountain it was starting point for downhill skiing competitions during Olympic games held in Sarajevo in 1984. Bjelašnica is rough and beautiful mountain with climate that can be changed in just few minutes because mountain is natural wall to the winds that are carrying warm Mediterranean climate form Herzegovina and colder Bosnian continental climate. At the top there is Meteorological observatory that is more than hundred years old and you can see skiing slopes on other side of the mountain

Bjelašnica mountain is situated near Sarajevo. It is one of the highest mountains in Bosnia. It got its name Bjelašnica (White mountain) because its peeks are covered with snow most of the year
