After getting inked by Whang-Od, me and rode on top of the jeepney from Buscalan to Bontoc Province. We stumble across many beautiful rice terraces that can rival those famous ones like Batad and Banaue. The views are so amazing that will leave you breathless. One word that we always repeat “beautiful”.

Few weeks ago I was enjoying one of the best moment in my life in Philippines, but funny how life changes in just snap of a finger. Now we are in a pandemic crisis. My heart goes out to all who died, those who are fighting against it and those who survived the virus. We can make a change by staying at home, be hygienic and helping each other. Let’s use our common sense and the power of thinking from the misinformation that feeds more in our fear. Humans has the ability to rapidly adapt to its environment. We need courage to support everyone, we are all in this together.

Ifugao Rice Terraces are the most famous rice terraces in the Asia-Pacific Region reaching 1,600m and considered as the best built. Batad and Banaue Rice Terraces are the most popular with their beautiful amphitheater and magnificent landscape. However, I talked to locals of the province and some of the younger generation of Ifugaos are no longer interested in tending the rice terraces, specifically farming, and instead seek higher-paying jobs thus, leaving the rice terraces in danger.

I had a motorcycle accident during my 11 days traveling in Coron and El Nido, thus I withdraw and re-scheduled the Tao Expedition that I am so stoked for. Luckily, they were only superficial abrasions. But it made me realize life is too short— too short to live with hate and grudge to drag you all day. That day I re-taught myself to rise up and feel what life is.

The “Blue City” of Jodhpur is one of the color coded cities of India together with the “Pink City” of Jaipur and the “Gold City” of Jaisalmer. It is also called as the “Sun City” bc it enjoys fair and sunny weather all year round. The houses were painted blue for many reasons: Blue is associated with Lord Shiva and that the Brahmins portray their houses’ superiority over others. They also believe that blue repels mosquitoes. Since it is Sun City, blue color keep the houses cool. Me and took a guided walking tour deep in the heart of the city. We were fascinated and amazed about the history and culture, thus making an unforgettable experience! @ The Blue City, Jodhpur
