Tour April - May 2020 - Germany and UK
Horses and Dreams, CDI Mannheim and Badminton Horse Trials

This tour for April and May 2020 takes in two great competitions in Germany, and then Badminton Horse Trials in the UK, romantic cities, wine tasting, stallions and stables and lovely sightseeing.

We start this tour meeting in Bremen, North Germany, and then we have time based in Osnabruck and also Visbek. During this time, we will go to Horses and Dreams, CDI4* at Hof Kasselman where you will enjoy quality dressage, show jumping and shopping in the loveliest of settings. We also will spend time visiting famous stallions and stables, have shopping time at Reitsport Schockemöhle, visit the stables of Josef Freese with a clinic and visit the lovely historic town of Bremen.

We then work our way south to Mannheim for the CDI there, visiting some stables on the way. While we are at Mannheim, we will also visit the romantic town of Heidelberg and plan to have some time in the famous wine area of Rheingau, near Frankfurt. Mannheim is a great show to attend, especially as combinations are heading towards the Olympics just a few months’ later.

We will then fly from Frankfurt to London, UK for Badminton Horse Trials. Say no more….. The world’s best eventing riders, lots of tweed and it is just a wonderful competition to attend. We stay nearby Bath, which is such a lovely old city to be based near.

The tour finishes on Sunday 10 May after the end of Badminton show.

Places are limited, cost is $4,000 pp share twin. Tour includes all accommodation with breakfast in 3 or 4* hotels, transport within Germany and the UK, tickets to competitions and all the program. International flights and the flight Frankfurt to London are excluded (although I book the Germany – UK flight for us all to travel together). The end of another tour - so sad to say goodbye to this great group.....

CHIO Aachen, historic Marburg, the stallions and stables of Helgstrand, Schockemöhle, Sosath, Warendorf and Celle, training with Josef Freese, Schockemöhle Reitsport, tour of the German Federation, Rastede Oldenburg show, the stables of Kasselmann, the State Studs of Warendorf and Celle, Bremen, UNESCO Kinderdijk, Herrenhausen Gardens, Marienburg Castle and ending up with the Young Horse World Championship in Ermelo........

Guys - it's been a blast and so much fun! Safe travels home.

Wow it's hot here! Been a busy couple of days.... Tuesday was a visit to the German FN and then the State Stud, both in Warendorf. Yesterday to Hof Kasselman then the stallions of Andreas Helgstrand, home of Ulf and Eva Möller, and we watched Ulf training one of the stallions. We ended up swimming in a lake here near Visbek as we're all melting. Today is Rastede Show - 40 degrees is forecast for 🥵
