VISA SITUATION UPDATE

Does your visa expire today or soon in next few days but you can't fly out soon because the airport is temporary closed and you are having a reschedule flight?

Please go to immigration station at I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport soon before or when your visa expires (if yours expires today then go today) so you won't get charged for overstay. Overstay fee is charged per day even in emergency situation and it will be your fault if you don't report yourself to the immigration office.

We highly recommend you to go to immigration station at the airport and process an emergency visa extension. This visa is valid for 14 days. If later during 14 days extended you still can't fly back to your country, you can come back and ask for the same process again.

To process the emergency visa, please prepare these following documents needed:
1. A printed paper of your initial cancelled flight.
2. A printed paper of your reschedule flight.
3. Your passport.

Regarding the papers of your flights, we recommend them to be original printed out to show your original flights itinerary to the immigration officer. You can ask your airlines to send them for your through email and print them out (phone confirmation won't be enough, you will need to show the original papers as a proof).

After you give your printed flight details, you will be asked to wait. If there is no long queue you will get it shortly but sometimes you will need to get back in few hours later to get your passport back with extended visa of emergency situation, just ask the officer when will you get your passport.
