Villa Hammaka is a private house right on Curacao's Spanish Water bay, with breathtaking views of the beautiful landscape and sunset skies right from your private beach and pier. After leisurely waking up, you can enjoy the morning breeze while having breakfast on the porch or under the pergola by the beach. When you are ready, grab some snorkel gear and search for the hidden "treasures" around th
e pier. If you want to catch up on your reading, relax in one of our hammocks with your favorite book. If you want to be more adventurous, you can take a car to experience the many attractions Curaçao has to offer. Be sure to get back to the house in time to get your favorite drink, put your toes in the sand and capture the breathtaking sky at sunset. The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and can sleep a total of 6 people. We can pick you up at the airport and can hit the grocery store on the way to the house to ensure you are fully stocked. If you would like a car to explore the island, we can help you rent one for a fair price, and we will supply you with a map and a list of the "must see" spots on the island! Not only is waking up and watching sunsets with this beautiful view absolutely amazing, having a boat to cruise around the bay is the icing on the cake!

We rent this 1972 13’ Boston Whaler for those who are interested. It’s just like the one in the old TV show Flipper (hence the name!).

Just installed a new ladder off the pier! The other one broke because it got left in the water too long. Hopefully this one will be easier for everyone to pull up when done swimming and it will last a long time! 🤩

We do our best to maintain the house so that everyone can enjoy it, including ourselves! I think after 6 years and running, it looks pretty damn good! 😃
This house is located on the Spanish water bay where we do have a lot of action from boats, windsurfers, sailboats, kayaks, paddle boards, SeaDoos, etc. Water traffic is busiest on Sundays and holidays. Most people who stay here love it - it’s part of the charm! If you want something more secluded, check out our sister property, Villa Bon Bida!
I love when it rains on the island, everything is so green, including places where we normally just have rocks and dirt. Even the “kabrituberg” across the water from the house is green!
